Itzé Hostel - 77400 Isla Mujeres

Con mi novio nos quedamos en el hostel 3 noches. Un lujo todo! Los dueños, argentinos, muy amables. Pasamos unos días espectaculares. Todos con muy linda energía. ?? Esperamos volver!

Si buscas algo económico es tu lugar ya que las habitaciones aunque cuenten con un pequeño balcón se sienten algo húmedas y en la noche se escucha ruido pero la ubicación es buena, solo a 5 min caminando de la estación de autobuses !

Hostel pequeño pero acogedor. Buena ubicación con buen desayuno. Personal agradable. Las habitaciones con aire acondicionado. El baño bastante precario. En teoría hay agua caliente, pero a nosotros no nos ha salido. Tampoco se hecha de menos dada la temperatura de la isla.

プラヤノルテに近く最高のロケーションです。朝食もついてお得感が大きい。 ただキッチン内の食事スペースがやや狭い。早めに行くか時間をずらす必要あり。喫煙所がもう少し広いと嬉しい。

Very nice owners, very good location. Very thin walls, hard to sleep in the morning because of the noises.

This hostel want to get the people in it sick. I had a fever with a potentially to be COVID. Of course I didn’t want to risk other people at the ferry and at the dorms and I couldn’t also get to the island because of my illness. Unfortunately, they didn’t want to cancel the booking with no cancellation fee with the excuse “this is just Fever. We hope better soon. This is not a result of covid”. Definitely DON’T GO THERE!

The hostel has no atmosphere. Exept the kitchen area there is no place to sit and chill, no real relax area. The showers and toilets are dirty. In one of the showers the wall is so low that you can easily see somebody else showering. There is no place where you can lock your stuff or an area where you can put your luggage after or before check out/in. Furthermore never had such bad service in a hostel in my whole life (spend over a year sleeping in hostels). Employe didn't know anything about the island itself.Check out is at 11 and if you come back later, doing a tour they recommended to you, you have to pay extra to just sit in the kitchen area.

This place is more like a jail than a vacation house with psychopathic owners following you around and controlling every step. Tiny rooms, no hot water, dirty toilets, cold water barely running from the shower , no common area. My neighbor left me some food and the owner when she saw it rushed inside the room and demanded that I give it all to her. She motivated it that everything in the hostel belongs to her! Even when I gave them all the food she kept stalking me around the hostel screaming something in Spanish with a heavy Argentinian accent that nobody could understand. She even went after me when I was taking a shower and I had no idea what she wanted ! She went inside my room and was messing with my personal stuff on my bed and just would not leave !Then her husband came and they both started venting out negative feelings . When I tried to protect my borders from this invasion they asked me to leave the hostel. I stayed only 3 nights and in front of my eyes they kicked 2 very nice hard working volunteers whom they previously treated literally like slaves. When I left the hostel the owners falsely reported my no- show to booking.com. so I would not be able to publish a review. I am sure this is their common practice to avoid bad reviews. Terrible annoying disrespectful people , stay away from this jailhouse if you don't want to ruin your vacation!
