Got food poisoning while in Isla Mujeres and Sweet Home Care came to my hotel and I got VIP service here very quickly. The nurses were professional and courteous and one of the easiest IV’s I’ve had. I would highly recommend them. Dr. Randy

If I could leave 0 stars I would. DANGEROUS from beginning to end. First, the nurse showed up & didn’t speak English other than, “I’m sorry.” She asked 0 questions about my medical history, medications, or allergies & mixed the IV in the kitchen which is the furthest from a sterile environment. I’m kicking myself for even letting it get this far but I really took for granted the luxury of the American medical system & wasn’t thinking. Anyway, she administers my IV which goes fine, other than the fact that she doesn’t have gloves on. Which I didn’t even think about until I saw my blood on her. And then goes to administer my husbands - we are both Covid positive. Within 30 seconds he says, “I’m going to pass out.” He was right. He passes out, his body becomes stiff, and his eyes start bulging out. At this point I start to become light headed & begin asking the woman to take the IV out of him. She doesn’t. She sticks a cotton ball covered in rubbing alcohol to his nose instead. Obviously, I’m scared - he’s still unconscious. She eventually takes it out of him & I demand her to remove mine, too. Maybe she would have understand if she spoke English? Who knows. My husband comes to & gets her to remove the IV from my arm after me yelling for what felt like an eternity. It was terrifying & awful. I dont know if he had a seizure, a heart attack, or an allergic reaction but I’d like to think all of this could have been avoided with more due diligence on the providers side. All in all, terrible experience from beginning to end on the level of the company & it’s clear that there needs to be an improvement on training, qualification, and communication. She was very sweet so I feel bad even writing this review but i hope I can prevent this from happening to another family.
