Izla Hotel - 77400 Isla Mujeres

Great experience since our arrival. My fiance had an allergy in our first room and staff was more than willing to accommodate us to another. We decided to upgrade our room to one facing the ocean, which was the best decision ever. Then we had dinner at Numa restaurant at the hotel and the food/service was amazing. Thanks to our server Roberto and our Chef Patricio who cook us the special which was one of the best Tomahawk steaks I have ever had. Breakfast room service in our balcony was also a treat. This was only 2 days into our vacation and I have no doubt that our rest if our stay will continue to be great. We can't wait to explore the rest of Isla Mujeres.

This hotel was an amazing stay. Clean, Nice Design, Quiet (roof pool is good if you prefer more lively/social) We explored food around the island mostly but our few meals on site were great. Great cocktails (Papaya Margarita with Chili Rim goes great with the beach front cabanas) The pool area/bar was incredible along with great service and wonderful staff. I can’t stress enough how great the staff was. (Very accommodating in scheduling our COVID test in the room prior to departure, informative, attentive, genuine smiles, eager to assist however they can and just all around fun yet professional) We spent most of our time at the beaches but gained a very strong appreciation for this area towards the end of the trip and wished we had spent more time. Some other cool features: +Beach Yoga +Private Beach (more like a lagoon) +Easy Parking (for golf cart) +Good Location (Central part of the island so easy access to both ends. One end has more touristy areas with great beaches, the other is purely beautiful scenery and minimal traffic, nature) The Central area is more less touristy and less tourist focused but amazing restaurants)

Absolutely awesome hotel.. Excellent friendly staff and rooms were large spacious and clean and modern. Ate room service once and thought it was good. Pool is awesome also.. Only con is there's not much around the location of the hotel but that could also be a positive.

Clean and spacious rooms and overall quaint and lovely hotel. They have some kinks to work out though like restaurant speed and reliability with orders. Their mini fridges are not ventilating correctly (you need to cut the holes in the top of the cabinet not in the bottom. Heat travels up). This side of the island is very calm water, too calm for my taste with lots of sea grass so not great for swimming. Overall a relaxing stay. Two thumbs up for housekeeping team. They did great.

Loved this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer! Our rooms were immaculately cleaned with nice dimmable lighting, a mini fridge, robes, and water bottles provided. The beach is small, but sufficient. You can swim out to a sand bar not far from the shore. The pools here are better in my opinion. There’s always a taxi out front available. If you want to rent golf carts, do it while you’re in town because there’s nowhere near the hotel to rent. The hotel has 4 golf carts, but they are rented quickly. The thing that really set this place apart was the excellent customer service we received from Daniel at the front desk. He helped us many times when we were visibly flustered. We ran out of cash and the hotel does not have an ATM, so we felt stranded. Daniel arranged a taxi to take us to an ATM and then to our dinner reservations. He was continuously kind and helpful throughout our trip, and I cannot thank him enough!!

Incredible stay at Izla Hotel. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Absolutely beautiful property, SUPER COMFY beds, staff was extremely accommodating and kind. The rooftop pool and view are perfect. The black mixed ceviche is some of the best we’ve ever had! Alonso, the bartender at the rooftop is THE BEST!!!!! Great drinks, awesome personality, super kind. Overall wonderful experience and would 100% stay here again. The only two things I could say that could be improved are 1. The canned beers could be a lot colder and 2. The fan has a permanent clicking sound that doesn’t turn off when the fan is going.

I visited here a few years ago and by far tell everyone I know that visits the island to stay here and hope to return. This place is like a beautiful 5 star resort where they bring you complimentary beverages which are delicious as soon as you walk in the door. It’s on the far side at the end of island so I feel like the location is out of the way for tourists but the island is so small it’s only a 10 minute taxi ride from end to end. I like that’s it’s off the beaten path away from the busy streets in the center of the island. The room was large and overlooked the pool. The rooftop pool and bar was beautiful with cabanas. For the price this place is almost to good to be true but I assure you it’s wonderful. Breakfast is included and there’s a small space with reserved chairs and umbrellas on the beach. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave after 2 nights so booked another night without any hassle at the same price at about only $150 per night US.

I stayed here for 2 nights and I had a great experience. No complaints. Housekeeping did a great job, the room was spacious, with a nice garden view. Will definitely stay here again. Only downside of this place is its a little too south but honestly I just used the cabs which were 100 pesos one way (ferry station to hotel - hotel is quite south from the ferry station) but its cheaper to do that than to get a golf cart which was going for $70-80 for 24 hours. Taxis are easily available outside Izla hotel and everything was very convenient.
