★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience, if you plan to climb the peak you need some experience, and time, it is a long walk so be prepared, enough water, grains and chocolate (advice for beginners ) amazing views I love this mountain ⛰

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The closes volcanos to Mexico city. you are not allowed to climb Popocatépetl but trekking in Iztaccihuatl is one of the best experiences. Landscapes are awsome. If you visit with family and little children there are plenty places in the valley with games and places to eat or camp with toilets . If you are here for trekking and adventure there is a refuge close to the top but I recommend taking a tent since it can be really crowded. Entrance to the park is 35 pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an experience! Unforgettable. We felt like we could almost reach out and touch the volcano. The road to get there from Puebla is very bumpy and hard on whatever type of transport you are using. You have to pay to use the bathroom which is dirty and smelly. The place could be developed a bit more which would make it an even more wonderful place to visit. I have visited several times before and always enjoy it. Even with the negative things mentioned, it is worth it. Breathtaking! Please go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely a delight! Go out from Mexico City and explore. Take a hike and walk through the forest! Enjoy the scenery. Bring sunscreen, bug spray and first aid. The usual outdoor stuff!
