They have everything. Priced higher than the local supermarket and restaurants, but you pay for the convenience. Excellent customer service. Beautiful outside seating. Close to the beach and pool.

Seems you can find pretty much everything you need a little on the higher price. The food at the meet bar takes way too long and it would be a Great reminder to the staff to sneeze into their elbow ( cover their mouth) the gal sneezed and turned to the opposite direction of the register but behind her there is all the bread on the shelves kind of scary to see

Their food is good. They're grocery items are overpriced, and everything is in Spanish there is no English translation. Some of their staff are bilingual, but not all. Because it is the only store on site, they are a monopoly and run it accordingly. The boutique items run very small and are overpriced.

They have just about all the necessities that one can use while on vacation. They also have some nice, unique, and random souvenirs. The staff are friendly, the prices are fair, and the food options are good.

In the center of the Riveria Maya Vidanta Resort is the Jade Boutique. Here you can buy basically everything you need. On the main floor they have a jewelry store, a cafe/bakery, a mini grocery store and a place where you can get muffins/mini cakes, gelato, frappes, etc. Three of the restaurants of the resort are located on the second floor: Gong, Tramonto, & The Wine Bar. The Jade is conveniently located near the main pool, so guest can stop in often whenever the need strikes. As to be expected with any resort, you pay for convenience. The majority of items are double to triple the cost of local stores. For me the price/value factor for convenience was not worth it, so we only bought a few items including a large jug of water and some food from the bakery. For the essentials we opted to explore the nearby cities and get supplies. For those who are cost conscious, I'd recommend taking a trip to Playa del Carmen or Puerto Morales and stocking up on groceries, household items, etc. If price is not a concern and you'd prefer to stay on the resort then you're only option for shopping will be to visit the Jade boutique often to get what you need. The location is well maintained and they have staff constantly working to keep this place spotless. There is a small indoor seating area inside. If those tables are full, there is a large sitting/lounge area behind the boutique where guests can eat and/or relax.

I used to go into town and get my groceries for the week - eggs, butter, salt, pepper, mangoes, bread, etc...Jade has just about everything you need. My family was at Vidanta for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and my grandson's 2nd birthday. There are only two round cakes to choose from for celebrations - carrot cake and chocolate cake, how unfortunate.

Good place to pick up most of what you need while staying at the resort. Not an amazing selection of wine, food, and drink, but certainly enough to keep you going. Sandwiches and salads too. As well as a plethora of touristy things.
