Service was outstanding and owner gave us a ride back to our condo after we finished eating during a major rain storm. Now that's service!

And the best part was, we were able to support a small local business. No greater feeling. You don't have to pay exorbitant prices on Quinta Avenida. ? Highly recommended. Get there early.

The menu is small, but the chef has clearly taken great care in selecting the items and sourcing the ingredients. The guacamole and tamales were especially good (best I've had anywhere) and the shrimp pozole (soup) was comforting and flavorful. Everything tasted fresh and bright with just the right amount of heat. Terrific!

The birria was perfect, the Tejuino is amazing (traditional drink). Trying the Torta, next. I searched for a traditional restaurant, I wasn’t able to find one so I usually ended up eating at the touristy places but I’m glad I gave this place a try. It might be where the locals eat!

I had posole with chicken, my son had posole with chicken and pork, my brother had fish tacos, my husband had mole chicken, another son had the torta traditional Jalisco, it was so good we ordered a second one cut up to share before we left. People were leaving because they do not serve alcohol.. you are missing out. Eat here, then go to Laurel, or elsewhere for drinks.

Was very yummy with good prices. Definitely worth stopping by. The owner Pablo is a great guy. He explained everything and made sure the spice level was to my liking. It was!
