★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and very well kept botanical garden in Chapultepec Park. It specializes in cacti and has a small orchids greenhouse. Birdlife is also pretty active and varied, so it is worth to bring your binoculars and camera. It is always very quiet and a pleasant place to stroll or sit on a bench and read your book. You may enter from the park or from Reforma and it's free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to appreciate the native vegetation. We went there right when they opened at 9 am and then headed to the outdoor dining area and had some great pozole while waiting for museums to open at 11 am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible beautiful space. The diversity in plants is amazing. So many happy pollinators flying about as well. I’ve never seen such active butterflies. One of the most beautiful spots in one of the most beautiful parks in one of the most beautiful cities. A CDMX gem.

Highly worth a visit and walk thru in my opinion, especially if you like displays of cacti, dallias, huge tropical hibiscus trees, and what I think were large bamboo stalks but amateur that I am I couldn’t figure out. A really charming part of the park
