★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful small City between Morelia and Mexico City. The Mexican sandwiches (tortas) from El Mercado municipal are amazing! As well as the rest of the food. Fun fact, some of the butchers in this Mercado are doctors that decided to leave the practice to take care of the family business. Most of the food is safe to eat but I will still exercise caution.
