★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El primer Jardín de Niños de la ciudad de Caborca Sonora celebra hoy su 66 Aniversario de Fundación
El Jardín de Niños Telésforo López se fundó el 5 de enero de 1955, por lo tanto este día se está cumpliendo el 66 Aniversario de su creación. Gracias al Club de Leones de Caborca, A.C. se construyó el inmueble, ellos se encargaron desde la compra del terreno, edificar dos aulas, un salón de usos múltiples y su dirección. Recibí el nombramiento como directora a la edad de 20 años, iniciamos con 300 alumnos con edades de 3, 4, y 5 años, todo el Caborca infantil de entonces porque fue el primer Jardín de Niños de nuestra ciudad. Lleva en nombre de Telésforo López -ingeniero agrónomo originario de Nuevo México, Estados Unidos- que falleció en aquellos días y era integrante del Club de Leones, muy activo, entonces los compañeros del Club por unanimidad quisieron darle el nombre de su persona al Jardín. Las primeras educadoras con nombramiento fueron María Dolores Ortiz Lizárraga y Carmen Amavizca Cota, posterior, Alma Norma Pino Cáñez, Idolina Contreras Sotelo, Ana Denia Ramírez Carmelo, así como Jesús Cañedo Vanegas como el primer conserje.
Seguidos los meses del inicio de labores, el día 19 de noviembre del mismo año (1955) se formaliza la Mesa Directiva del Jardín de Niños Telésforo López para lo cual se recibieron en nuestra ciudad los representantes del Gobierno del Estado. La gráfica que les comparto es el testimonio de ese día. De izquierda a derecha se encuentran el Prof. José María Sotelo, entonces Director de la Escuela Primaria 6 de Abril; C. Alfonso García Sánchez, Presidente Municipal de Caborca; Diputado local José María Lemas (originario de Pitiquito); (no recuerdo el nombre si alguien sabe me dice); sigue el Prof. Lázaro Mercado entonces Secretario de Educación y Cultura del Gobierno del Estado; C. Eleazar Ortiz Ochoa, Presidente del Club de Leones de Caborca, A.C.; C. María Teresa de Estrada, Presidenta de la Sociedad de Padres de Familia; Profa. Dolores Duarte, Directora de Preescolares del Estado de Sonora; Profa. Gloria Aidé Nogales Méndez, Directora del Jardín de Niños Telésforo López; como testigo de honor el Dr. José Luis Canessi, integrante del Club de Leones de Caborca, A.C.

 The first Kindergarten of the city of Caborca Sonora today celebrates its 66th Anniversary of Foundation
The Telésforo López Kindergarten was founded on January 5, 1955, therefore this day is celebrating the 66th Anniversary of its creation. Thanks to the Club de Leones de Caborca, A.C. The property was built, they were in charge from the purchase of the land, building two classrooms, a multipurpose room and their address. I received the appointment as director at the age of 20, we started with 300 students aged 3, 4, and 5 years old, all of the Caborca for children at that time because it was the first Kindergarten in our city. It is named after Telésforo López - an agronomist originally from New Mexico, United States - who died in those days and was a member of the Lions Club, very active, so the members of the Club unanimously wanted to name the Garden after his person. The first appointed educators were María Dolores Ortiz Lizárraga and Carmen Amavizca Cota, later, Alma Norma Pino Cáñez, Idolina Contreras Sotelo, Ana Denia Ramírez Carmelo, as well as Jesús Cañedo Vanegas as the first janitor.
