★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked into Jardin del Corregidor one Sunday afternoon because I heard the sound of a calming fountain and the clanking of forks on plates and needed to know what was inside. What a lovely surprise! There are beautiful rose bushes and a green patch where a baby was playing with his grandmother. Feels like the kind of place the clientele has been coming to for years. Folks walked in a greeted the waiters heartily. Excellent, old school service. The garden is peaceful. The food is excellent. You aren’t going to find anything overly trendy but that’s perfectly okay because these classic dishes are well executed. I would confidently tell you to order anything on the menu at all.
