Beautiful garden. Gotta get there early. They only let people in at 10am, 11am and 12pm. It caps at about 50 per group (group 1 is 25 in English, group 2 is 25 in Spanish). Guide is required which was nice bc you got a lot of the background/history. However, since they don’t let you walk around on your own, this made it hard to take pictures and go at your own pace. There’s a big photo op at the end and only about half of our group was able to grab a photo before we all got kicked out. They are looking to install QR codes in the next year or so, to allow people to walk around on their own. That would really make it worth while.

Lots of variety of trees from across the region. English speaking guide was very informative. Because of the pandemic only 25 people are allowed at a time and there is only one English tour. Had to wait for an hour and half to get in. Water was not filled in in the most iconic spot of the garden. Disappointing.

The tour was available in Spanish only. The parts I understood were very informative. They save the best for last but wish we had more time around the cacti.

Very beautiful! sadly we had a lot of comlications due to covid to get in to the garden. They only let 15 people in 3 times each morning and it was a big ordeal for us. Its a nice garden but not the most beautiful one i have ever seen. It was not worth the wait and the tour we had to take took a long time so if you dont have any complications getting in i would go and otherwise i would just do something else

Overrated. Mandatory tours with guides that make you think that this botanical garden is of a different world. But what is nice is the setting (which you don’t get to appreciate as you are being herded through it), the explanations are so basic that I felt like in primary school. The technical details of the greenhouse are explained in great lengths but you cannot go in. But allowed to take a picture on top of it as it is apparently a architectural masterpiece. Plants are burnt, it lacks a concept. Let alone they have stricter Covid rules than airlines. The group of 25 people is controlled by two additional guards that won’t you take a few steps away from the group. So keep your kids on a leash. A mother was giving more insightful explanations to her child than the guide. In Ciudad de Mexiko go to the Parque Bicentenario and you will have more and better and for free and with time to explore on your own.

Great garden, worth visiting if you can make it work! As previous reviews mention, it’s difficult to make it in as they have limited tours at certain times. Check their website for update information. You’ll have a better chance of getting in if you speak spanish and can take a spanish tour (instead of the very limited offering in english.) Also with noting it says the tour is 2 hours long but it took us an hour from start to finish.

The garden and tour were very nice! However, the experience of getting *in* is extremely disorganized and poorly communicated. They are currently only letting 25 people in at a time. We arrived at 9:30 thinking we were in line for the 10:00 tour, but the 25 people for 10:00 had already been let in to wait inside- we found out at 10:10 that we would be assigned to the 11:00 tour. At around 10:20 we were let inside to wait seated in some chairs in the shade, with a large line behind us outside and only one tour left in the day’s schedule. There is no crowd control for the line (which is in direct sunlight in the morning) and nobody explaining what’s going on. If you have your expectations set appropriately and are prepared to wait, the garden itself is beautiful!

Beautiful botanical garden! Be aware, that you can only enter at 10:30-11:00, due to health regulations. You will get a really good 2 hour tour for 100 Pesos entrance fee. We had a beautiful time there. The tour has several breaks. They over water at the beginning - better bring something with you because there is no shop inside and once you leave you can not reenter.
