Jetpack Adventures - 77500 Cancún

We took the yacht tour around to some beach spots.. nice tour. They couldn't find a good spot to park for us to swim in the very blue water though. They served some good shrimp ceviche (eat first of you go in the morning). Drinks of beer, soda, and water were always available. The Photographer took photos before we got on and a few more pictures from a drone as we boated away from the dock. When we got back to the dock, we tipped our boat crew (not necessary) cause they were great. The photographer showed us the photoset on his tablet and said that one pic is complimentary, but the rest we'd buy as a package set. The only photo that came out well was the first photo in front of the yacht before boarding. The drone pics were too far and candid looking. We asked for just the one complimentary. They said they'd email. Nope they didn't. They expect you to buy the package set. I messaged back and forth with their "manager" about the one pic. But they still never emailed it. We roamed the marina shops and picked up souvenirs and stuff. Alot of restaurants at the marina as well. We left our hotel at 9am and we got back around 1pm (45mins drive to and from the marina from our hotel). Overall, it was an okay. Fortunately, the weather was great the whole time.

To get here, walk straight through the mall to the light house and the take a left into the hallway. We were able to book two jet pack and two jetovatot experiences through our resort, so it was quick and very convenient. All of the staff were friendly and there were a lot of people working to help with any questions, life vests, etc. and the building it’s self very clean and and organized, with some merchandise and several screens to view the high quality photos and videos. The photographer is great. From our four rides they captured every time one of us “flew” in stunning HD and with great composition. Each one looked like it could be an add for the website. From strapping the pack on to taking it off was a solid 20 minutes, with around 5 to rise out to the platform, gear up, and get instruction. The instructors are professionals and even compete in jet packing, so they give solid directions. It’s all a matter of staying calm and listening to their advice. Definitely worth a visit.

Terrible service! The manager offered to take the child for a ride and didn't even think what he was offering. Of course, we agreed without knowing. But the manager just wants to sell. The manager doesn't even know that it's hard for an 11-year-old to manage such a thing. We waited for our turn for an hour, although we were booked for 16.00 in advance. Now we are trying to get our money back.

Do yourself a service and stay away from Jetpack Adventures in Cancun if you care about your wallet and safety. My stay with my family and in laws in Cancun had been quite enjoyable up until my experiences with Jetpack Adventures, in which they: 1 - Lied to us about the price and added incremental "boat dock fees" and credit card fees once we arrived, even after we had agreed to the all-in cost and paid ahead of time 2 - Overbooked and Changed Start Time: Once we had already paid, they changed the start time, so that they could squeeze in another group. They had deliberately overbooked the time to try to make more money 3 - Dangerous: As we later learned once we were already in the water, some of the products were defective and damaged. They had put us in physical harm and we could have drowned. 4 - Thieves: The cherry on the top is that after coming back, the manager would not let my wife and me leave and threatened to call the police and his "friends" if we did not pay him for $1,000 worth of "damages". Completely made up and we had to get security involved. Thankfully my father in law was able to get us out of the situation unharmed. I should have read some of the reviews that noted a similar experience here. Life is too short, do not waste your time with Jetpack Adventures.

Closest thing you can get to feeling like a super hero. It really is an amazing experience and one that you have try more then once. Once you 'learn' what you are doing you def want to try again.

Awesome experience and a great crew. A little difficult to find the check in desk and we were a little late. The check in guy was going to not honor one of our four flyboard vouchers until we talked him into it. Other than that an awesome experience that I highly recommend!!! Francisco and Miguel were amazing and made our experience memorable!

The staff is really great and helped explain everything in detail so you feel more comfortable throughout the adventure. The jetpack was tough to get at first, but the experience was incredible! Franko was a great instructor and very patient.

The place was a bit hard to find since it’s in the back of the sopping center; just head toward the sea. We Had a great time here, we had 2 activities scheduled back to back. We toured on the small boat for about 90min and stop somewhere were we went into the water to swim for a while then came back. The guide was nice but I felt that from time to time he was going to fast. For many, it’s maybe the first time driving boat so I’d presume he will be more understanding and not drive that fast. Beside that everything was explained to use prior to using the boat and the team was nice to us. Second activity was the speed boat, fun and shorter activity. Overall we had fun that day, I’ll definitely recommend it.
