En época de día de muertos lo más conveniente es comprar los boletos de ida y vuelta debido a que la gente se amontona, puede sucede que en ese día te toque quedarte en la isla asta que la niebla baje, debido a que afecta la visibilidad de las lanchas a la hora de regresar. Hay un estacionamiento, cuesta al rededor de $20.00 por tiempo indefinido pero no te dan ticket y no te piden nada a la salida, por lo que hay cero seguridad, solo es por estacionarse. Hay muchas cosas que ver en el muelle, y varios restaurantes. El costo del viaje ida y vuelta por persona a Janitzio cuesta $100.00 el embarcadero está lleno de lirio y ligeramente sucio. Las lanchas llevan sus chalecos salvavidas pero sinceramente creo que van al menos dos veces más personas que salvavidas. Es muy divertido subir.
