They do not innovate, they did not rent me a truck to get my B license, and with that the insurance was validated that same day. How awful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems to be common knowledge that renting a car in Mexico can be a terrible experience, with scams, upcharges, and bad service.
At this location well, service could be better as I could expect for the area. The worker was nice but had no idea how make a copy of my driver license or did not take consideration of my other form of identification, he did explain alright which it’s not an issue but I waited about 1.5 hours just to complete the application at one point I was desperate to get the car and drive off to my grandmothers funeral, which by the way I was late. The good thing is that he didn't try to sell anything extra to me, claim damage, etc. The fuel was not full nor the car was clean. One thing that got me annoyed was the fact that he asked if I knew how to drive a Kia!! ? Of course I let him continue omg !! He inspected the car in every corner. Took for ever I was very annoyed b Never had an issue elsewhere but like I said it’s the location. Made me feel I had no idea how to use a car Ac or the engine?
The one downside was that I was given a stick shift vehicle and I don’t drive stick!! They never asked me, like if I work there and know the inventory right. My husband had to drive me everywhere. When returning the car well it was the same employee and oh boy yes I was late didn’t bother to say just wanted to get my receipt and leave.
My recommendation make sure you are not on a time limitation. Because they take for EVERRRRRRR!! Other than that I’m unsure if I will ever consider them again.
