My friend and I stayed here for two nights on our way to Holbox after flying into Cancun. Once we got through the gate at the entrance, we checked into a charming, minimalist jungle bungalow with thatched roof and mosquito nets over the beds. The owners are beyond amazing and friendly, and there are Mayan Indian helpers who speak Mayan! The clubhouse is where food is served and you might get a little bit of Wi-Fi. The food is excellent and the local honey they have is out of this world. They even have a few bottles of it for sale and make their own bath products for the bungalows using the local honey. Location is close enough to check out Puerto Morelos and passed a ton of cenotes on the way. The property at Jolie Jungle is great and brings you back to nature. It is a fabulous jungle escape!

One of the most amazing hotels I've been too! They were so nice, you feel like part of the family. Delicious food, beautiful rooms, such a romantic place! Definitely better than your usual hotel, and it's well worth the road to get there, close to so many cenotes.

We had a really great stay in the Jungle. If you are looking for some days relaxing, no city noises around and being disconnected for a little while from your smartphone you should book this place. The apartments are really nice. I liked a lot that Bernard and his wife take the environment around them serious. This is no mass tourism place. They have solar energy, the pool water comes from a cenote, and they are planting trees for the spider-monkeys. We saw monkeys, many birds and lizards there. The food and drinks that we ordered are really good. This place has its own rhythm, far from Cancun's Hotel Chains. Its definitely worth it to escape for some days and see something different then the beach.

Really nice family. Beautiful place. Love the idea. Could see lots of stars. Could not stay the whole time we had planned. Definitely roughing it. Lots of critters in the rooms. Structures seem like they were not sealed correctly when they were built so there are lots of cracks and holes for insects to get in. Mattresses and bedding were stained and dirty, for these reasons I could not sleep and stay comfortably. Did not expect this for the price. I wish this business success and with a few renovations i would definitely give more stars.

This place is perfect to disconnect from the city and go back to the basics. The jungle sounds calm you down and you feel at peace. You'll be hosted by a lovely family, Dino and his wife make everything for you to feel at home. Use the bikes available, walk in the jungle following the paths, do bird sighting, jump in the natural water pool or simply chill out in a hammock. Food and drink are totally affordable and well prepared. I even got a Chrystal meditation session done by a French local. Go ahead and relax!

Had an enjoyable stay, unfortunately only for one night. Very nice lodge, loved the sound at night. Very friendly service, the chef is great and prepares very good food. You are right about the guacamole: we could not find a better one in Yucatan :). For me, the included breakfast could be a bit more elaborate.

Enjoyed our stay, we arrived very late (130am) and as they said they would they were waiting to unlock the gate and show us to our bungalow, very friendly. Bungalow was nice, very quaint, I didn’t stay there for the ECO theme but just because it looked neat. For Mexico it was nice, out in the jungle, bird and big sounds all night which was pleasant. Pool and neat cabana for breakfast, bikes to get around if you want. Wanted a different experience and in the jungle, and that’s what we got. I quite enjoyed it!

Jolie Jungle is very special. It's made up of 10 separate casitas/modern huts interspersed very privately in the jungle. This is a jungle experience; remember you're in wildlife's territory here so you should not be overwhelmed at the sight of a spider or even a scorpion. The natural pool is beautiful and an absolute oasis in the midst of exotic birds, the calling of spider monkeys and the lush forest. Everything is walkable, but they do have bicycles for use. The 2 story clubhouse is rustic and beautiful. The delightful owners, Newa and Dino, are exceedingly hospitable; their dog Laica is wonderful. Unbeknownst to me, Dino is a French chef! The lunches and dinners are fabulous! I highly recommend Laura for a massage and the traditional Mexican Temazal in their manmade sauna with lava rocks. For a private jungle escape where you literally will not want to or have to leave, Jolie Jungle, just 40 min from Cancun airport and surrounded by cenotes, is highly recommended.
