Very kind owner and staff at this family owned business. Our car worked great with a good air conditioner. The rates were very reasonable and much lower than the big companies. We liked that it was not an obvious rental car. We will definitely rent again.

Its hard to say enough good things about this car rental experience. This is a family-run business, and has a lot of thought put into how to run it and what is important in supporting customers in many ways. Sn Rumbo wants to provide his customers with a safe, supported experience with minimal snags. He has thought about all layers of his business, I'll explain. 1) the cars: some are new, but some are older. The older models blend seamlessly into cars of the area. This is intentional. You will not likely be easily identified as a tourist based on your rental vehicle, which can be a very good thing. The air conditioning works of course. Some have 4 wheel drive. They are practical and ideal. 2) The reservation: He is very straightforward and reliable with pricing and delivery of a vehicle. He used to work in the big-brand sector and did not like the way customers were treated, and has tried to minimize the two biggest issues with other companies (they change the prices and they change the reservation or "dont have your car"). 3) The support: he will go out of his way to make sure your experience is not halted by things like mechanical issues, accidents, etc. He has beefed up the tires on many of his cars so that "customers don't have to deal with flat tires and take time out of their trip". He is supporting your trip, even in how he builds his cars! The car rental experience can make your trip or ruin it, especially if you will be driving to places (to surf, etc). This business makes it much easier to enjoy Zihuatenejo, Troncones, and the whole area. See ya next time Sn Rumbo!

He rents for short term vacations, as well as for longer surf and travel excursions. There are several options, and he clearly knows what vehicles work best for different people’s needs. Jonny and his team go the extra mile in terms of customer service. I know my car will be clean, and ready to drive away when I need it. Returns to the airport have been just as quick and easy. Jonny went above & beyond to help us while we stayed in Mexico for 3 months. We used 3 different cars as our needs kept changing, he was so patient. All the cars got us everywhere with no issues. His prices are the best, his communication was excellent, & he’s just a all around great person. Renting a car is such a hassle & expensive. I’ve been traveling to the Zihuatanejo area for 38 years. Renting a car allows me to take advantage of some of the many different places and experiences there. I only rent from Jonny Rumbo (Ca$h) mainly because I trust him, his prices are reasonable, his english is perfect, and his customer service is excellent! Super nice guy, family members work in his business. We’ve become friends over the years. He’s a great resource of local knowledge as well. He always follows through, if I ever have any issues with the vehicle I’ve rented he’s always taken care of it promptly with a smile.
