The name of Actopan comes from the Nahuatl Actoctli which means "buried water or wet land" and Pan "on top of", translated could be "mainland" or "muddy beach" or also "on fertile land" being such the currency of your shield of weapons; or it also means "Rio de reeds on fertile land"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice family friendly park in the middle of the city. Plenty of dining and shopping options walking distance from park.
You can grab a bite to eat, relax on the bench and enjoy the view of the mountains and the church in front of the park while the kids play in the playground at the park. Police Station is near park so you also feel safe while visiting the park.
