My boyfriend and I had a reservation to stay at this boutique hotel Valentines weekend 2020. We show up in our uber and the whole place is shut down (COMPLETELY CLOSED) without any heads up or notice to us and we had this booked weeks in advance. Now I don’t think what happened to this building but they should’ve contacted us and given us a refund or hotel voucher for this massive inconvenience this caused and the total damper we dealt with on this day. It was horrible. All the hotels were booked near there and luckily a room opened up last minute at the cutest bed & breakfast hotel named Casa Rosa Morada... this saved the day/trip. I cannot stress this enough. Do not be fooled by their website and photos etc... I’ve reached out via email to get this resolved somehow and these people have completely ignored me. It’s truly so sad. I hate to have to write this review but everyone should know how SHADY this place is. There was yellow caution tape everywhere it looked awful and suspension stickers all over the walls of the building. Our hearts sank as we realized this was the hotel we were staying at and then realized they NEVER had the professionalism to let us know prior to our trip. We were literally stranded for hours. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place. It’s trash and they have zero customer service. It’s appalling. I took photos of the building and will update my review with them to prove this nonsense. Full blown yellow caution tape surrounding the building with no notice to us although the room was paid for in full for the trip!

The place is ideally located. You can see the cathedral from the pool / bar area and some of the rooms. Rooms are very well decorated. Beds were extremely comfortable.The staff is very friendly and most speak English well. I had a wonderful stay and made a reservation for another trip in the future. Looking forward to the my next visit.
