El metrobus pasa sobre la avenida si necesitas otra opción de transporte. Como ocurre en esta zona generalmente hay que tener mucho cuidado por la cuestión de la seguridad.

Nació el 21 de marzo de 1806, en Oaxaca. Sus padres, Marcelino Juárez y Brígida García mueren cuando Juárez tenía apenas tres años de edad. En 1833 recibe el título de abogado. Al cumplir 25 años es electo regidor del Ayuntamiento de Oaxaca. En el año de 1843 se casa con Margarita Maza. Tuvo varios empleos públicos.
En México se adhiere al Plan de Ayutla, que fue proclamado en 1854. En 1856 Juárez es nombrado Ministro de Justicia y Negocios Eclesiásticos. Estando en esas funciones firma la famosa Ley Juárez, además en 1859 promulga las Leyes de Reforma que marcan la separación de la Iglesia y el Estado. Durante su gobierno México sufre una invasión del ejército francés y la imposición de un Estado monárquico extranjero a quien finalmente derrota. El 18 de julio de 1872, muere repentinamente al ser víctima de una angina de pecho. Sus restos descansan en el mausoleo del panteón San Fernando.

During his rule, Mexico suffered an invasion by the French army and the imposition of a foreign monarchical state, whom he finally defeated. On July 18, 1872, he died suddenly from angina pectoris. His remains rest in the mausoleum of the San Fernando pantheon.
