El Verde en este lugar se inventó en 1970 este exquisito embutido verde, que está elaborado de manera artesanal por el heredero de la receta, que ahora es el propietario de este emblemático lugar, y que un toque extra en este lugar es quien toma las riendas en el comal que es su esposa.
Ellos los atenderán de una manera muy especial ya que la cortesía y amabilidad es su especialidad aparte de este espectacular platillo (Chorizo Verde)
Este manjar se prepara como ya dije de manera artesanal, todo con verduras y condimentos verdes que es lo que le da el sabor, me consta ya que un día tuve la fortuna de estar presente en dicho proceso, hay quienes dicen que se agrega pigmentos y hay muchas leyendas como los que se quieren adjudicar la receta diciendo que en otros lugares como Toluca es donde lo preparan o los mismos vecinos del lugar, pero no señores no se dejen engañar hay literatura y evidencia que respalda que ellos inventaron este manjar, el creador fue entrevistado por Raúl Velazco en el programa siempre en domingo y también por varias revistas de ese tiempo.
En fin lo importante es que vayan a este lugar a disfrutar de esta delicia y después comparten su experiencia, no se van a arrepentir, la carretera está muy descompuesta pero bien vale la pena el recorrido por la recompensa de probar un delicioso taco de chorizo verde que lleva cacahuate, almendra y otras delicias acompañadas de una salsa recién echa de molcajete y tortillas recién echas a mano
