K&K Diving - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Our experience with Kim and Kelly was awesome! We had an amazing day snorkeling with whale sharks in Cancun, and the both of them were excelent tour leaders and guides! Food was great, enough drinks for everyone, great briefings (specially Kim who is a marine biologist) and overall, 100% recommended experience with k&k diving

I can really recommend this diving school in Playa, because of friendliness of the dive instructor, comfortable equipment and the brilliant pictures afterwards! I had one of the best dives ever in the marine area of Isla Cozumel (it is possible to do dive there from Playa del Carmen without going with the ferry to isla Cozumel, they use a boat to go the the dive locations)

I was so happy that I booked with K&K diving for my stay in Playa Del Carmen. My husband and I did 4 days of diving: Cozumel, Bull Sharks, and 2 days of Cenotes. Kim and Kelly were both amazing. It is 100% worth it to go with a smaller company. They both provided so much personal attention. The experience never felt overwhelming and really allowed me to fully enjoy the dives. In general, if you are going to the Playa Del Carmen area I absolutely recommend that you dive as many cenotes as you can! It is out of this world. The bull shark dive was also an experience like no other.

Had a blast diving with them over two days! They took me to dos ojos, Kelly is a professional who knows exactly how to lead a group of divers, and how to make it fun. I was adamant on diving the reefs of Cozumel, and even though they were full and weren't headed there that day, they arranged it for me with pick up. 100% recommend K&K!

Kim was AWESOME. We were a really big group and she was super flexible and accommodating helping us with our itinerary last minute. Her scuba guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The Cenotes were incredible - both for the divers and snorkelers. I can't recommend Kim and her services more!

Very professionally run dive tours. Excellent communication via email prior to arrival and via messaging during stay, making logistics and planning very easy. Small group size make for a much better and less chaotic experience, and added to the fact that both Kim and Kelly are experts in their respective fields, this made my diving in Playa del Carmen downright fantastic! Would highly recommend them to anyone planning to do any kind of diving in Playa del Carmen but in particular if you are considering shark or cenotes diving and feeling a bit unsure about it. Kim and Kelly will give you the best experience!

You go to Playa del Carmen and you are faced with a bewildering number of dive shops and outlets promising you the best. So what sets K&K apart? First you get two girls who really know their stuff. I did 9 dives with them and would rate them as outstanding. Kim guided me on the sea dives. Diving with a marine biologist meant I was going to see and Iearn so much more than I would with one of the bigger, heavily promoted outfits in Playa which is simply geared up to take your money. Kelly guided me on the cenote dives and again, her knowledge and experience together with her enthusiasm for freshwater dives and "dirty sandwiches" was infectious! They have no dive shop and there are no frills with these girls but they will explain why. To be honest their business model is not just unique, it is great. With a maximum of four in a group, (the most I dived with was either Kim or Kelly plus one other), you get a much more personal experience which is tailored to you and your skill level. I came to Playa with a bunch of PADI certifications, but leave having not only learned a lot about marine life but also having improved my dive skills thanks to tips passed on by K and K. Would I go elsewhere for diving in Playa del Carmen in the future? No. Thanks Kim and Kelly. You are awesome!

It's challenging to find the right dive outfit amongst all the options in Playa Del Carmen and I stopped looking after one trip with K&K Diving. I found Kim/Kelly through another travel blog and spent a few days diving the reefs around Playa Del Carmen with them. I watched them managing divers from beginner to professional with all the care, service, and friendliness that make diving fun and adventurous. The difference for me, what made me the the happiest for going with K&K, was the emphasis on educating us on the underwater biosphere to feel as a part of the environment, not merely an observer. A good diver is ALWAYS learning, and a great diving company like K&K knows that making you a better diver is the real goal. I not only highly recommend you contact them, I will only dive with them on future trips to Playa Del Carmen.
