★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was phenomenal. We had the tampiqueña and the ribs, both had great flavors and the presentation was beautiful. Would recommend this to anyone visiting SMA who is looking for higher end Mexican cuisine. Don’t miss out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing food, presentation, atmosphere, and service. In a month in SMA this place easily tops all the rest. Especially special is all the food has local roots and is locally sourced.
I wish I had discovered it before my last day. Don't make the same mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't say enough good things about this place. We went for our last dinner in San Miguel and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was super friendly and indulged my bad Spanish efforts. The food was outstanding. I'm attaching photos. The whole octopus was perfectly cooked. Same for the barbacoa. The gorditas for dessert were INCREDIBLE. The building is very cool, they have a speakeasy in the basement, and then 2 indoor dining rooms and one rooftop terrace with view of churches (we ate there). They are expanding to add a lebanese restaurant from what I understood, which will be on a rooftop even higher than the one where we ate (even better view). Best meal in San Miguel for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had nothing but excellent dining experiences here in San Miguel but wanted to try something different. Came across Ka'Ban and the reviews were great so we stopped by. As beautiful as the restaurant was, it was completely empty. The concept is unique but sadly the food was very underwhelming. A lot of the plates needed salt or extra seasoning. Presentation was great but nothing worth returning for. 4/10. They have potential but dishes need lots of improvement. Service was also slow.
