Absolutely amazing experience at Kan! Never have we experienced such a perfect synergy between the staff, hotel, nature, ambiance, food… All of the other 5 star reviews weren’t lying. This place was PERFECTION. We selfishly hope Leilani and Kenya are there when we come back.

Excellent stay, beautiful rooms and amenities. Service is awesome. Breakfast is amazingly delicious and fresh. We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed every moment of it.

10 stars, Highly Recommended. Every positive review here is spot on. Leilani went above and beyond for us. Breakfast (vegan & nonvegan) was incredible, all the staff and service was top notch & proffessional. The complex is beautiful with many intimate nooks to explore.

Beautiful hotel that is well maintained, so it really looks like it does on the pictures. You get a fair value in return for the price here. Breakfast is good with freshly made quesadillas or omelets. One of the highlights is definitely the private cenote. Scooters can be rented and bikes are available for free to get around. Only downside is that it takes a couple of minutes to get to either the beach or downtown and the road does not have any lights.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had the most wonderful time!! The atmosphere is incredible and the staff is so personable, caring, and on top of it! Jorge at the front desk and Nati at the breakfast bar were highlights of our stay! We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed here this past week and had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was super friendly- from the security guard, bartender, cooks, and front desk. Thank you Jorge for being very helpful and personable. The massage was also fabulous! The grounds were beautiful and we definitely enjoyed the refreshing cenote on property.

We stayed at KAN for 4 nights and overall, it was an okay experience but there are a few things that disappointed us. The good: The architecture, rooms and overall design is one of a kind - it really feels like you’re in a tree house. The pool was nice and well maintained throughout our time. The breakfast was excellent each day (and included!) - coffee to order and the options varied day by day. The bad: Unfortunately, there were a couple of things not as advertised that threw us for a loop. First, we were very excited about the complimentary bikes KAN offered to guests, only to find out they were not available to guests the entire time we were there d/t maintenance issues. We ended up just renting a car, because the location isn’t very walkable. Next, only breakfast was offered during our stay - not lunch or snack options as indicated on the website, this was also disappointing. Last, the air conditioning in the rooms is not great - it never got below 76 degrees; we are people who like to sleep with cooler temperatures so we had trouble sleeping our whole stay. We brought this to the attention of the front desk - they said they would talk to their manager but nothing ever happened and no one followed up. Honestly, I don’t think there was anything to fix, the size of the AC units are just too small to accommodate for the rooms. To Kan, I would suggest getting some back up bikes and updating your website so that you can provide your guests with the things that you advertise for. Although it was a unique experience, I just don’t think it was worth the price. I think we would have been better off staying somewhere along the beach that was more convenient, walkable and has more hotel experience.
