Most amazing stay, lovely rooms and delicious breakfast !! Will definitely go back ❤️

Fantastic place! 5 minutes by bike from the center of Tulum, we had peace and quiet in the evenings. Super rooms, fully equipped, very clean, large bed, beautiful garden and pool, kitchen in the garden. The biggest advantage was the very helpful service and a delightful boss Miguel ?We will definitely return to this place when we visit Mexico and Tulum again. I would rate at more than five stars :) I recommend !! ?

Nice rooms and proprety, the owners who are also hosts are very nice and welcoming, staff as well. Bc of the location, you should rent car for sure (parking is available), I wouldn’t drive bicycle on these roads, it’s very dark after sunset, and condition of the roads is pretty bad in Tulum. Breakfast is tasty, the portions are a bit small (sometimes) but fresh ingredients and skillfull preparation make up for it. But…Chill Kanil is a bit too chill imo. Two days in a row our room was not cleaned (the sign for cleaning was hanged as instructed), leaving us without the basics (toilet paper) and with over-fulled trash bin, too many times used towels etc. Not ideal. Cool place to stay for a couple of days while travelling around, wouldn’t recommend it for longer stay.

Positive: Very peaceful atmosphere, with a nice interior court and swimming pool / sunbeds Decently priced vs other accommodations in Central Tulum, also due to the location a bit outside of the central town Amazing breakfast included, with food and fruit juice changing every day. Only constant food served is a bowl of fresh fruits. Breakfast included: quesadillas with beans (one of the best meals Ive ever had, still dreaming about it!!)/ pancakes / avocado, tomato and zucchini toast / bowl with oatmeal, seeds and bananas. They were making everything from scratch in front of you - very relaxing. you can also chat to the other guests while waiting for breakfast around a big table. Very nice. Miguel and the other employees are lovely, always happy to help, give plenty of recommendations and call taxis! Most helpful hostels we’ve had. Clean and spacious flat, with AC. Swimming towels were an appreciated plus Negative: Far from the main road, with walking not very possible. Need taxi or bicycle that will add some cost to your stay. Breakfast is supposed to be served between 8 and 11 (or 12am) but realistically, they start cooking at 8 and you won’t get your food before 9 or 9.30am. Just be aware if you want to leave early in the morning or are in a hurry! They kind of force you to take your time - it’s called chill kanil for a reason and we loved it for it!! Best stay we had in mexico, 100% recommended!!!!!!! Thank you for the lovely time.

Amazing place to stay in Tulum. Miguel was a wonderful host. The place is comfy, beautiful rooms with delicious breakfast. They also have bikes for rent. Definitely I will come again!

Chill Kanil is a hidden oasis, away from the bustle and busyness of Tulum. The people running it are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay (including a shared pool and beautiful plants in the compound). The rooms are spacious with all the amenities needed, the bed is comfortable and everything is well kept clean. Delicious breakfasts are included every morning suiting each guest's needs (vegan included) upon request. The only issue we had was that the walls and doors are not very soundproof, so if you like pin-drop silence then I would have a word with management beforehand. Highly recommend !!

Wonderful place to stay!! Beautiful and well kept grounds. Such attention to detail in all their design. We were arriving late in the evening and they arranged a lock box for us. Girl at reception was incredibly kind, friendly and accommodating!! We also very much enjoyed the included breakfast prepared by their chef. High quality, healthy foods. Wish we could have stayed here longer!
