La Dra Karen es muy amable y atenta. La verdad es que yo siempre muy nerviosa con la procedimientos dentales, y ella se ha mostrado paciente y receptiva a todas mis dudas. Sin duda es una maravillosa profesionista.

De viaje por Mérida para el Tianguis Turístico 2021, tuve una urgencia dental y la doctora Karen me atendió con premura y mucho profesionalismo. Este tipo de profesionalismo es indispensable para una atención certera. I eat candy every day so to compensate I try to take care of my dental hygiene. I have been in Mexico for a while and had to cancel my cleaning at home (United States). So I went to see Karen for a cleaning. I am soooo glad I did. She is a blessing. She spent an hour and a half with me and really took the time to educate me. And she expressed concern for my thinning enamel. She asked if I eat acidic food like lemons or spicy food. She also measured the acidic level of my saliva and discovered that it was not acidic. But did mention that I have low amounts of saliva. She asked if I grind or clench my teeth. I do clench my teeth at night. She reminded me that it is natural for humans to grind or clench their teeth when they are stressed but for prolong periods, it can damage your teeth. She encouraged me to identify the problem whether it is stressed, hormones, sleep, or stomach issues. Aside from the cleaning of plaque, tarter, stains, and the usual; I felt like she really cared about my well-being. Also while she taught me Spanish words that I would have never learn otherwise such as the word for "tarter" (which she informed me I dont have much of and only behind my front lower teeth) and "amount." Karen has a warm and friendly demeanor. I am glad our paths crossed!
