My experience was amazing...2 implant in 24 minutes and no pain at all compared to bad treatments in USA. I highly recommend Kemm Clinic

Charged me $300 USD for a set of xrays. Didn't so much as touch my teeth (and I came for a cleaning!). The dentist said that according to my xrays, I should, "skip paying for the dentist for at least a few years." Excuse me? When should anyone skip going to the dentist for at least a few years? And he didn't even touch my teeth so how would he know? The whole thing seemed like malpractice to me. There's $300 dollars down the drain for nothing!

I made an appt here for my boyfriend and myself, based largely on the favorable reviews we found on Dental Depatures. Just before our appointments, I Googled to find the office's location and came across their Google reviews. Concerns with Dental Departures reviews: anyone (including employees of the dentist office) can leave a review. Even though they have 163 5-star reviews on Dental Departures, KEMMClinic has 3.7 on Google...BUT 11/18 4-and 5-star reviews are left by people who have never reviewed anything else (which makes me suspect they are fake reviews) and 5/18 are 1 stars. Take away the questionably fake reviews and you have 5/8 authentic reviews are 1-star. KEMMClinic doesn''t have a Yelp page; they don't allow Facebook reviews -- and their Facebook "page has over 6,000 "likes," most of which are people from Kazakistan (which means KEMMClinic bought fake likes). I canceled our appointments. I would not comfortable having more work done aside from a cleaning -- and I can get a cleaning for the same price on Groupon from a dentist who has authentic reviews.

Dental Tourism: Good Intentions - Horrible Execution (Read Cons) Cons: -A lot of Time & Effort for planning: Between communicating making sure the right materials would be used, specifics on the procedure being done, and calculating pro/con of various procedure and travel cost, I put a lot of time and effort into this trip (many, many hours). -The Whole process requires ~2 Weeks of Vacation: -Half of Staff was missing: Even though I put in a lot of planning and communication, for some reason I was failed to be notified until I had already booked flight and hotel reservations that the head doctor (Dr. Aguilar) would be gone when I was there (more on this later). -Hard to Communicate: On arrival, it was somewhat challenging to communicate with my given dentist and staff because of Spanish-English language barrier. You can see how this could become problematic if there are issues. -Longer than Expected Process: Four visits, each visit was ~ 2 hours. -Lack of Experience?: Again, have to say staff was exceptionally friendly and tried, BUT I got the feeling the dentist I was given didn't have a lot of experience and the quality and time was impacted. I also think this was impacted by a majority of the staff being out of the office, so this is probably an exception for me. -Lack of Sufficient Materials?: I will say my teeth are fairly white, which I'm proud of. However, KEMMClinic did not have white enough porcelain material to match my other teeth. THIS WAS HUGE IMPACT ON THE FINAL QUALITY AND SATISFACTION. My teeth aren't Hollywood white or anything. I'm not sure how a dental office doesn't have white enough material for the full tooth spectrum. Additionally, I asked ahead of time with the communications middle person representing KEMMClinic about this and was reassured it would be fine. -Issues Matching of Crown & Veneer: I needed to adjust the size of my central incisors (two front main teeth) and one was a root canaled crown and the other was a normal healthy tooth. Again, I had done a lot of research, so I knew there could be an issue with color matching crown/veneer, so I asked if a crown on both would be necessary and my dentist (not Dr. Aguilar) told me a crown and veneer would be fine. I saved some money and a healthy tooth, so though this would fine, but the end result the two teeth are fairly mismatched in color. This is because one tooth essentially has no real tooth inside and the other is just on top of a real tooth. End result, color mismatch I am not happy with. -Quality of Temporary Crown: Upon the first procedure, I was essentially given what looked like gum placed over my teeth, instead of a hard crown. A) it looked incredibly silly and B) it would have been very difficult to eat normally. Since this whole process would take 7 days, I decided to pay a little extra for a hard temporary crown (which I wasn't told this would be an extra cost). So, after paying for this extra bit, the quality was a joke, I'd say even worse than just having gum on my teeth. I looked like a hillbilly. By this time I was in the office for 2+ hours and was essentially emotionally broken I didn't bother saying anything. While sleeping my temporary crowns fell out and was crushed in my bed. I had to come back in to get these replaced (for free) and the quality was night and day better, but just came back to extra effort, communication, quality, and experience. Pros: +Saved money from out of pocket on all porcelain material ($1,400 total trip cost vs ~$3,000 at most US dental offices) +Was able to see a big beautiful city +Practice Spanish +Staff Was Extremely Friendly, Supportive, and Gave it Their All +Very Safe Neighborhood w/ Clean and Professional Office Summary: In the end, my teeth are functionally fine. The real reason I wanted this done was cosmetics and I'm not happy with the results. Close friends ask me about my teeth (not in a good way) which isn't what I wanted. A smile is very important piece of a person's self-esteem. So, hopefully your results are better if you go with KEMM.

RUN FOR THE HILLS! This is a phony dental group, Dr Aguilar and his team completely ruined my beautiful virgin teeth perfectly functioning bridge and covered them with very cheap, unfinished veneers. Not only were they poorly made, but they were improperly and incompletely sealed. I have had 2 root canals done in less than a month after they installed the veneers. I am still seeing a Dentist in Puerto Vallarta at this time, having a complete redo of the horrific work they did on my teeth. Dr Aguilar himself orchestrated the destruction of my teeth, details i will not get into right now. I just want to warn anyone who has even considered using this clinic, I am paying a very high price for making a very bad decision, the vibes were really bad after the first visit when they completely grinded (not shaved) my teeth and then tried to send me home for the week with a piece of putty to cover the destruction. I had never been so humiliated and overwhelmed with the feeling of powerlessness at the same time. As I sat before Dr. Aguilar weeping and begging for his help, he was deaf to my concerns and fears, but he assured me that he is an accomplished man, who also is a nascar driver, and how dare I question his tremors, his hands were perfectly steady , displaying them to me in a very angry tone (something I expressed concern about with his secretary Lety, when he did the exam his hands were noticeably shaking) I consider myself a strong woman, retired US Navy veteran, but this man scared me. As I sat across from him in his office, inhaling his dirty ashtray, I prayed that somehow he will show me favor, I have just lost my teeth. He is an egotistical self absorbed flim flam man who has not the level of ethical professionalism to serve the public, his behavior is abbohorent and I am seeking to let everyone know the truth. And what good dentists chain smokes? The pics are before Kemm and after the first visit prep work, which were prepped for crowns rather than veneers, and the unfinished veneers. God is good I found an excellent group in Puerto vallata that saved my life.?‍♀️

I am almost 3 years out with the implants I received at KEMM and very happy. I was well taken care of.

I received full mouth implants, top and bottom Arches this past December 2021 from Dr. Aguilar at Kemm Clinic and couldn't be any happier. Receiving them changed my life. Dr. Aguilar and his staff are very knowledgeable in implants and use the best and highest technology. His Staff are very cordial, helpful and courteous. I live in the U.S. and the prices here were unreal. I paid 1/4 of this with Kemm Clinic and my quality of life has improved because I can eat much better and my smile is back. I highly recommended Kemm Clinic to any one that is considering implants. Kemm Clinic makes the process easy, painless and affordable.
