★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bathroom was disgusting. Very strong odor of urine. The playground also had a strong odor of urine. The dining area was disgusting. Could not get over how dirty this place was.
We confronted the "manager". Her response was "we have only 4 people working here"
Highly recommend to NOT eat here.

It's very oily and soggy, not crispy how it should be.
I have tried KFC in the U.S and Mexico Hidalgo and it's nice and crispy, but here in Playa del Carmen Calle Juarez & 30 it's very oily and soggy.

The staff is slow, the fried chips came soft and soggy
The fired chicken is absolutely disgusting.
Don't come here its not even close to the worst KFC you ever visit, i promise

I do not know KFC's criteria to give franchises, but this is the worst KFC.
Considering that Playa del Carmen is a tourist city, you cannot communicate in English in there and the worst thing, is that they also laugh at your Spanish.
Even the manager that came out to sort things out, he was worse!!! And when I got my order, it was half, with no drinks. And when I asked for the drinks, even though I was showing them the receipt, it took me more that 4 minutes to sort it out...
And the taste, I cannot describe it... Nothing like anywhere else... We left almost everything on the table.
And last and very serious, the bugs in our sodas!!!!! Disgusting!!!!
Central KFC, you must be ashamed for this branch...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a reason that KFC has been able to go global. The chicken is always well cooked and tasty.
This location is always busy but this trip was a surprise. Plenty of chicken coming out of the kitchen so only a 2 minute wait for my big bucket to go.
