Los bebés llegan al mundo dotados de un cerebro donde la mayoría de circuitos están desconectados, entre ellos los del lenguaje. Para conectar y activar esta poderosa red, hay que rodearla de estímulos significativos que potencien al máximo sus habilidades innatas para aprender. En Kids&Us queremos aprovechar y optimizar todos estos mecanismos que se activan en los primeros años de vida para ponerlos al servicio del aprendizaje de una segunda o tercera lengua.
Es evidente que el proceso de adquisición del lenguaje empieza mucho antes de que el niño empiece a hablar. Por ello, Kids&Us propone que los niños empiecen a asimilar el nuevo idioma desde el primer año de vida, a través de una exposición diaria al idioma.
Después de oír las mismas combinaciones de palabras en diferentes momentos y contextos, el niño acaba entendiendo el significado de todo aquello que escucha. Los padres hablan con sus hijos de forma natura utilizando en la comunicación una gran variedad de palabras, expresiones y frases en distintos tiempos verbales. Kids&Us reproduce esta situación con sus alumnos y los expone al lenguaje tal cual es, mediante contextos fácilmente reconocibles para ellos.
