★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to try authentic Mexican food, you must visit this restaurant! The staff and cook are authentic local indigenous and they speak Nahuatl. The food is vegetarian and it is prepared authentically. The taste was incredible! You will love “cafe de olla” , ask for it during breakfast, it’s coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a unique menu with delicious flavors that are worth exploring. Their tortilla cholulteca is a good main to share and their cazuela with cheese and veggies is tasty too. Oh and don’t miss the pulque curado (nuez) it has a complex flavour that will surely be an experience. If I could have a cup of this every day...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is amazing and authentic! Handmade everything. I had tamales con mole the first time we visited and sincronizada the second. Make sure you get the coffee, it was possibly the best I’ve ever had. It came sweetened with a spicy cinnamon flavour. Excellent service and good prices. Everything was vegetarian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I got there close to closing and wasn’t offered a menu but what they did prepare for me was delicious and very filling. The pulque was also probably the best that I have ever had. Not that I am a connoisseur but I definitely recommend it. The most impressive part for me, coming from a service industry background, is that the owner introduced himself and asked my name and actually remembered it! I would definitely return and I highly recommend that you check out this little gem!
