★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese restaurant, but some dishes have Mexican twist. Nice decor and very laid back outdoor patio. Our tempura shrimps appetizer and kinds of ramen were pretty decent enough to remember it, although it would be nice to have slightly more chashu in them. Very good selection of Japanese alcoholic beverages deserves a to be mentioned as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was pleasantly surprised with koku. It’s tucked off in a little street off reforma . The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. They have a decent size menu with various sushi options and ramen options also. The sushi was fresh. Tried a a spicy hamachi and a fried shrimp roll both equally good. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is because the way the food came out. Not sure if it’s because the waiter didn’t understand our order or this is how the restaurant works but our appetizers came after the sushi and the ramen soup. But overall was content with this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good sushi restaurant in Mexico. I recommend the coconut and curry gyozas and the Ramen.
I also loved the beer made from Haiku rice. Good service although the sushi was not the best.
Value for money: Ok

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our second time here. We waited to try it again to avoid the "first time excitement"... But it is still there! This place is amazing! The Ramen, I can say for sure, is one of the top 5 in the city. Service is sharp and warm. The desserts are ok, I think is the only part to improve, but trust me, you are making your taste suffer if you don't delight it at Koku. You must try the coconut curry ramen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mid level Japanese restaurant. It’s seating area is cozy and the service friendly. The food was lowish in quality and tasted so-so. There are better Japanese restaurant options nearby. I probably wouldn’t go back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s sometimes difficult to find good more authentic Japanese/Asian food in CDMX. This restaurant does not disappoint. I had the coconut ramen, edamame, and jasmine tea. Perfect afternoon meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I have the chance, I'll definitely be back! I had the spicy salmon poke bowl, absolutely delicious. Berry mezcal drink is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend if you need a break from all the tacos ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there attracted by good google maps rating and convenient location next to our hotel at CDMX.
The atmosphere is cool and loved outdoor seating area. The service was impeccable and timings perfect. However our expectations on the food were definitely not met. Given the prices I was expecting better sushi quality. Just a fair meal.
