Worst experience in Ixtapa, first it was incredibly difficult to speak to someone on the phone prior to my stay to pay them, or even just get any type of customer service, the buffet was slim in options, the staff was not helpful I payed for all inclusive to not be able to take my son to a restaurant that was reservation only. Definitely will not be back here. And hopefully my review helps other people who are trying to have a relaxing vacation.

Not that much food in the buffets, Our lights to the restroom were broken, but was fixed later. We didn't have any hot water for the shower, there isn't much to do. Staff were nice and willing to help.

Very poor service, the staff do not care to have you there. The food is not good and often not available. Bogarts restaurant is the only saving grace and that’s being generous. The drinks are very cheap and poorly made. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Price online is not even true price, I got overcharged. Food is poor, drinks only till 12. Not what I expected at all. Only good thing is beach other than that it’s not an almost 4 star hotel. Check hotels before reserving, they take advantage of out of country tourist..

All the staff were great, no mini fridge in room. There Was nowhere to sit and have a drink except for pool loungers. Needs a lobby bar badly! Otherwise really enjoyed our stay.

I paid for all inclusive, but they wanted to charge me for guacamole and coffees. A total rip off. I have been to many all inclusive resorts and never had to pay for anything, including room service. That is what all inclusive means. Beware the bait and switch.

The staff here are simply wonderful. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is rated as a 4 star. I felt it was maybe a 3.5. The building is designed so all guests get a view of the ocean. Good sized rooms, clean and in good condition. The building is showing its age a bit.. needs a bit of a refresh. But the beds were comfortable and the accommodations met our needs. Two buffet dining rooms, and 3 Ala carte restaurants. The restaurants were a nice change from the buffet fare. Food was good, but the menu was pretty much the same everyday. 3 small pools.... always busy. (One dedicated for young kids).The entertainment crew was great at getting people dancing and having fun. Massage available at extra charge. It was excellent! The beach is beautiful. We spent most of our time there. Don't expect to swim in the ocean at this stretch of beach. The 10 foot waves were great to play in though. The beach is beautiful for walking. Nice location. Easy 10 min walk to local restaurants The weather was perfect. 28 c everyday. Sunny. Nights slightly cooler. The sunsets are gorgeous.

We arrived on Sunday on a flight with Air Canada. At the airport they charged us $159 Canadian for a carton of cigarettes. Another person was never charged for bringing in cigarettes. So to say our trip has not started out well. The resort is over packed with locals and hard to go for a relaxing swim. The adult pool has no swim up bar and is extremely small. The pool with the slide was bigger then the adult one. The food is extremely horrible. I was told the resort has lowered its standards due to the pandemic. Also, the room does not have hot water. My husband wants to leave immediately as this is the worse all inclusive vacation ever. There was a wedding party with approximately 100 people having a wonderful time without faces and no social distancing. ? Good points: Staff and locals are very pleasant. The view was amazing. Unfortunately, we would never recommend staying here and will never return to Ixtapa again. Many other beautiful places to visit in our wonderful world!
