Blood on my sheets. Wifi is TERRIBLE. I had no service coming from US so I was counting on wifi. It literally doesn’t work in the evening when everyone is inside. Called and asked, they said their antenna is broken. Reading past reviews, sounds like this is a common excuse to lie about. Had ocean view near the water. Literally until 4 am there was loud music playing outside and people laughing and screaming, was hoping to fall asleep to the waves. Food is not the greatest, extremely run down. This place is low rated for a reason.

The hotel offers the bare minimum. It's a place forgotten in the 1980s. The all-inclusive is a waste, very few options to eat, only two buffets with pretty much the same options, and one pasta dinner with very limited options. The best option to dinner is yet another buffet themed as a Mexican-kermes, a kind of festival, although the food is not too good they offer music, recorded or live, for you to dance. The personal is, with a few exceptions, not customer advocates, not even to say hi when you encounter them. The sea is not recommended to swim for safety reasons but, if you still do it none is going to stop you as they are short on personnel and none is watching the beach. Finally, the gym is falling apart, missing parts, not functioning equipment, no thread mill. Get your workout in another way. If you opt for the basic stay with no food it may be a good deal as the zone has good options to eat out

My fiancé and I stayed here for about a week, and the services were amazing. Super friendly and informative staff. If we needed to get somewhere, they would give directions and easiest way to get around. The food is delicious in the mornings! I recommend the pumpkin flower omelettes. They also have an evening restaurant with different dishes each night with live authentic Mexican bands playing! The beach is beautiful and clean - one of the best sunsets I’ve seen. So much to do in a week, we will be back for sure.

I recently stayed here and had one of the worst experiences ever. Not only did they make us wait in an overheated room while checking in but as soon as we got to our room it was filled with sand and filthy! The receptionist at the front desk convinced us not to get a one by the beach because it would be more noisy. The room where he placed us they were playing music until 11pm. It as incredibly loud and hard to sleep through. We never received towels to even take a shower or dry our hands! I will definitely not be returning. It’s sad that I traveled so far to receive just awful service.

Unbelievable service, the staff is second to none. The room was modern, clean and the ocean view spectacular from the 16th floor of the tower. Perfect for a family or a couples getaway, both were treated like royalty. Thank you all for a very memorable holiday. We will surely return.

Great value with beach access and convenient bars located near the beach. The food was the only thing I didn't particularly care for, I was hoping for some more traditional Mexican dishes with a little bit more flavor. The all-inclusive drinks were nice and I could acquire a drink pretty much at all hours of the day staffed by friendly bartenders. The room was sufficient but it was a little cold and sometimes in the morning you could hear music in the distance at early hours. My kids also enjoyed themselves in the shallow pool next to the restaurant near the beach, they also have an Infinity pool and another pool with a decent water side. For the price I paid I was happy with my stay.

This was absolutely the worse experience I’ve ever had in Puerto Vallarta. Food was brutal, staff unfriendly. 1 bar to accommodate the entire place which was lined up every day all day. Maybe 1 guy running drinks. The smell of our room was unbearable, might even toss my clothes when I get home. We weren’t sure if we were even going to get fresh towels or water every day. Oh and those lovely Cockroaches. This place should be shut down. It’s funny reading the other reviews because I also stepped on something from the beach area and will have it looked at as soon as I get home. Spoke to the manager about all of this and she didn’t bat an eye or seem to care. Don’t go here period.

This place should be considered a 1 star resort. They definitely don’t cater to Canadians or Americans. It’s more for the locals now. The view is about the only thing good about this place. What a horrible experience we had staying at the Krystal with our 6 month old infant. Came home with an infection on my foot from the unsanitary and disgusting conditions of this place. The staff were not accommodating at all. The food was absolutely horrible. The burgers were RAW, I thought going to Mexico id get tacos and guacamole and salsa they did not have any of that. I won’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Even though the price was good, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
