We did not need to ask "sin queso", as it appears to be a standard mexican habit to add cream cheese to sushi. Not sure how that came to be, but this place serves up excellent high quality food with authentic flavors. The service was excellent , the music pleasant and at a volume that still allowed you to have a conversation. The maitre'd came around to welcome us and inquire if we needed anything else. All in all a great dining experience and we will certainly be back.
N	Nick Western on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best nigiri sushi ever had outside of Japan (and I’ve had plenty). Excellent service, perfectly cooked and seasoned rice will delicately formed nigiris. 40 pesos - 80 pesos per piece but worth every peso.
A	Antony Rule on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is anything but “authentic Japanese”! I can only assume those who’ve given such hysterically enthusiastic reviews don’t know what Japanese food should be like. Tataki beef needed a chainsaw to cut through it. I ate one mouthful and still they made me pay for it. The rice was inedible- stodgy and tasteless. The fish on display for sushi - which I didn’t dare try- looked anything but fresh. There was a huge pile of defrosting tuna on a tray behind where the “chef” stood. Awful, truly awful experience. If you want good Japanese food, you won’t find it in the Yucatàn. Stick to tacos.

The fish is obviously very fresh with a great texture and flavor . Arturo the manager and all the staff provide excellent service in an elegant but subdued environment funny I made a movement that seemed like I wanted something the staff member behind the counter was in my table in seconds actually I was just looking/admiring the decor . Excellent Excellent service, beyond reproach.Here for another visit Ordered Sashimi and Japanese Beef Rib Soup. The sashimi as always incredible ,the beef soup flavorful very substantial the delicate but not fragile ,this soup is a meal by itself for sure .

I ended up eating nothing sand allowing my family to enjoy worst sushi spot in Merida. Don't go here. My plate is empty because they couldn't accommodate none of my requests.. I didn't even want water... And the wait staff is terrible coming to our table numerous times as to rush is out. The table we was at of that was terrible also we had no lights we are in the dark outside. This spot is by far the dining experience I have encountered in Merida to date.
