★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar sin duda esta bonito, pero la atención es escasa, casi nula… o es que no entendí el concepto y es “hagalo usted mismo”? No se, pero esa impresión me dio, las opciones de alimentos son pocas pero son sencillas asi que no me explico como es que tarda un avocado toast UNA HORA! El cafe rico, pero no vale la pena esperar tanto por algo asi…
 The place is undoubtedly beautiful, but the attention is scarce, almost zero... or is it that I did not understand the concept and it is "do it yourself"? I don't know, but that impression I got, the food options are few but they are simple so I can't understand how an avocado toast takes ONE HOUR! The coffee is delicious, but it's not worth waiting so long for something like that...

El mesero que nos atendió, era un joven de lentes muy amable y atento. Los postres ricos y el café bien. Sin queja de servicio ni comida.
Esta a gusto como para ir en la tarde después de la comida por el café y postre.
Si regresaría.

The waiter who served us was a very kind and attentive young man with glasses. Rich desserts and good coffee. No complaints about service or food.
It is comfortable enough to go in the afternoon after lunch for coffee and dessert.
If I would return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Llegamos a las 9:15 am y estaba vacío el lugar, así que les recomiendo ir lo más temprano posible, porque el servicio es algo tardado, por ahí de las 10am nos trajeron nuestra orden. Pedí un La Vie en Rose, estuvo bueno, una porción justa, así que igual les recomiendo que si no se llenan fácilmente se piden un café y un pan para esperar mientras llega si comida. Probé la bolita de queso, y me encantó, de las mejores que he probado en Mérida. En general el menú no tiene más de 5 opciones para elegir, así que no es variado. Lo atractivo del lugar es el café y la decoración, muy bonita y elegante.
We arrived at 9:15 am and the place was empty, so I recommend you go as early as possible, because the service is a bit late, around 10am they brought us our order. I ordered a La Vie en Rose, it was good, a fair portion, so I still recommend that if they do not fill easily, they ask for a coffee and a bread to wait while their food arrives. I tried the cheese ball, and I loved it, one of the best I've had in Merida. In general, the menu does not have more than 5 options to choose from, so it is not varied. The attraction of the place is the coffee and the decoration, very beautiful and elegant.

Great place to work on wifi with a laptop.
Surprisingly not that busy. Tons of seating outside in the hotel lounge as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely horrible. We dressed up and drove all the way from Chelem to have coffee and something to eat for breakfast. There was only one other table of two and the staff initially ignored us and then treated us badly. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The decor is beautiful. The food is simple but pretty good. WiFi signal is strong. The reason for the three star review is the staff and also how slow the service is.
I have been here two times this week. The first time they took 25 minutes for a sandwich, which was delicious.
The second time the wait was not as long. The sandwhich my friend had was delicious. When I went to go place my own order, I was totally ignored by the staff member behind the counter. A simple "un momento, por favor" (one minute, please) would have been better than not saying anything. After I was outright ignored, I just did not feel comfortable approaching the counter again.
I wonder if this place makes enough revenue to support itself or is subsidized by the hotel.
