Excellent place to go for mezcal and they are open late. I recommend the oro verde or the hierbas del desierto ?they are special just ask what they are made from and im sure you will want to try them.

Excellent selection of artisanal mezcals made from many different species of wild agaves and sourced from many areas of Mexico, not just Oaxaca. The pours are large and the prices are very reasonable. Every mezcal I tried was high quality, and I’m very picky. They have several locations in Mexico City. I haven’t tried all of the different varieties that they offer yet but my favorite so far is the Curandero which is agave marmorata (same agave as tepextate) from Puebla.

Small but awesome mezcal/cocktail bar in Roma. They play great music too. Eric, speaks english and was very helpful with the menu. Some of the best mezcal I've had so far in Mexico. The Alto and the San Carlos are absolutely fantastic. Highly highly recommend stopping by.

Love this place!Great and wide selection of mezcal, craft beers, and mix drinks that are mouth watering and at a low price. Also, the waiters are very knowledgeable on their mezcal's. When I go here, I usually order habas and queso Oaxaqueño to snack on and try to order as many different types of mezcals :)

Great mezcal cocktails and very affordable. Basically a snack menu, and pretty small, but great atmosphere. A long list of mezcals to try if you want to narrow down the variety you prefer. Indoor and outdoor seating. Get the potato chips with lime and hot sauce!

You can have a real taste of mexican mezcal, lots of varieties (although some of them were not available), and also authentic side dishes such as chapulines (fried crickets), orange with chili, churritos (kind of fries). They also have artisan beer and cocktails. Very small but ideal for the beginning of the night.

Small spot to try local Mezcal. All the bottles are unmarked, and you can choose from a variety of different mezcals on their menu. It's a great quick stop before or after dinner in Roma area. They have locations throughout the city. It's one of the older establishments/ bars in Mexico City. Personally, I wouldn't go into this place having high expectations and you'll have a great time.
