★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Temperature varies thru out the day. Night time is very cold. Food was great at all the restaurants there. Nice small town. Clean crisp air because it’s high up on the mountains. If you are into mushrooms it’s readily available. Other than that not much there to do. I stayed three days and it was more than enough

this place is strange as you get closer to, you feel a mystique like as the time had never passed, where you can forget all the garbage from this world.
Now being more practical:
you can try typical food or a mushroom soup, camping, staying in a cabin, enjoy the amazing sunsets, bring souvenirs etc. And if you go in the right season; get rot with the famous hallucinogenic mushrooms an experience close to nirvana

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! Spectacular mountains. Excellent variety of recreational |)ru8s. Deliscious food made by locals. Inexpensive sleeping quarters with panoramic views. Will definitely go there again.
Note: winding roads, steep grades. I got very motion sick on the way back to Puerto Escondido.
Additionally, the views, the food, the artisans and craftsmen, and the other people are with the trip with unaltered minds. Totally worth it, I practice sobriety everyday.
Get the hot chocolate made with water, honestly, it is satisfying.
