★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic stop for some iced frappes. Our groups has a Spanish speaker, but we didn't need a lot of translation, the gentleman and lady who served us spoke very good English and were simply so joyful! The coffee itself was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing coffee place!! I went there 15 minutes after they closed and the owner invited me in anyways! I had expresso coffee and carrot cake (75mxn) and both were super good! They are super nice people, and also pet friendly! They even have a closed space for dogs to play! I'll be back for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discovered this place when my usual coffee place that I like was not open and so glad I did. The coffee and food are very good and the owner and employees are so friendly and helpful. Love the greeter dog ? that will welcome you when you arrive. Will be back when I return to Playa .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe 7 Sur is a MUST when you’re in Playa! It’s off the tourist path and a great find. The staff are all so accommodating and welcoming. The music sets a great ambiance and the lattes are delicious. PLEASE try the Chilaquiles con huevos! You’ll be glad you did!! I went two days in a row—I only wish I had found it earlier!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people who work there are so nice and gracious and I had such a lovely, lazy Saturday breakfast there. The drinks and food are delicious (and so affordable!) and furthermore the service is so kind and attentive. They have a side yard that is completely gated for dogs to play in and their own chickens! I immediately felt good energy coming from the people who worked there and the place itself! It’s a shame I discovered it so late during my time in Ejido/Playa!!!

The ambiance is wonderful, it felt as if I was working in a beach cabana. Digital nomads should blow this place up. And the prices are fantastic. Just go. Stop reading now and go. I mean it. Tell Hernando I sent ya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the quaintest little restaurant tucked away on Calle sur 7 in Playa del Carmen.
The owner is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is pretty, the service is fast and the food is to die for!! (NO EXAGGERATION)
I highly suggest anything on the menu but especially the Hamburger & Fries or the Banana Pankcakes washed down with either the mango or strawberry smoothie as I've tried both. Delicious ?
(Seriously the best hamburger I have ever tasted)
You can also get fresh eggs there.
If I ever return to Playa del Carmen I will definitely stop by for bite to eat
