I honestly was afraid of the idea of diving and but Federico, our instructor did a great job teaching us everything. Fede kept us calm when we were underwater and was there for each and every one of us when we were having trouble getting the hang of the scuba diving.
He is a great person and instructor. Def recommend

After 3 years I can just repeat the same.
This was my third year diving with Calypso. I did four dives in two days. My first day was with Frederico and the second day with Alex. Both days went really well and I can highly recommend Calypso’s team. I was diving with my daughter and we both felt really well protected during all our dives . Dive guides were well trained, professional and I strongly believe that this is the main criteria you need to look when doing diving in caverns. I would gladly do my diving with them again. Thanks Calypso.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only had 2 days in Tulum out of a 5 week vacation, our youngest son turned 10 while we were there and Nico gave him the best birthday gift ever by taking him one-on-one to Cenote Dos Ojos for his very first scuba diving experience. Nico was so warm, playful, patient and excited about this and he equipped our older children, my husband and myself with snorkeling gear so we could tag along and witness our son’s first dive. Halfway through the journey Nico and our son swam up to the surface to meet the rest of us. We were floating in a circle and Nico began singing Happy Birthday, we all joined in and this was such a wonderful and moving experience. The birthday boy said it’s the best thing he’s done in his life. Thank you Nico, Hélène & La Calypso for this magical memory we’ll treasure forever.

Both of our instructors were extremely knowledgeable and gave outstanding briefings so that we knew EXACTLY what to expect on each dive. I am a divemaster, and my partner is a new diver and I appreciated the attention to detail. We dove Dos Ojos, Casa cenote, and Carwash, and all were unique dives! Not to mention both guides gave us great food recommendations for our time in Tulum.

Federico and La Calypso dive centre were great hosts and very easy to contact. Definitely use them if choosing a dive centre in Tulum!

I felt super safe, Bebe was kind enough to answer all of my questions and help me get more comfortable. The dive was epic!! Would absolutely recommend diving with La Calypso.
