★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little hotel in the middle of Huasca. Service was excellent, and the gardens are beautiful. Nice place to eat breakfast or lunch. Did not stay there but the rooms look very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place that makes the visitor experience the real Mexican Hacienda environment. Waiters and manager very helpful and nice. They played "Las Mañanitas" for us on their speakers since it was our son's bday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint and comfortable hotel steps from the main square
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul a lot, the hotel has beautiful surroundings and feels very calm and serene inside. The hotel is literally on the main square so everything in the surroundings couldn’t be closer. All activities in and around Huasca can be organised through the hotel or in the kiosko directly opposite the hotel. We went quadbiking to peña del aire and has a fantastic time.
The rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Room 15 backs onto a side street and we had no trouble with noise at all on Friday and Saturday night as some others had mentioned.
The included breakfast is very good and consists of a buffet with pastries, yogurt, coffee, fruit and cereals and then you can choose to have something from the a la carte as well like omelettes or chilaquiles. The outdoor patio is really nice and it’s great to have a drink there in the evening. We also had dinner here once and it was fine without being memorable.
Service was mixed as the reception didn’t inform us we had breakfast included initially and didn’t really show us what the hotel had to offer. One of the male waiters was fantastic and offered consistently excellent service.
It’s a shame they turned the pool into a fire pit but I can imagine it gets cold here in winter months in the evening so understandable. We had no need for the fireplace in our room but we definitely would have used it if it had been cooler.
TIP: head to Casa Colobri for amazing cochinita pibil. It is a 20min walk down the road or you can jump in a collectivo, you won’t regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming hotel with a marvelous garden, and cozy room with fireplace. Excellent service - greeted instantly by arrival and had wood delivered to our room (for the fireplace) within minutes of asking. Kind of lame continental breakfast, but that's par for the course in upscale hotels.

We had the cutest most cottage-core suite. Our room was rose themed and had a fireplace and a fig tree outside. SWOON!
