Even though it is a very cheap place, I still think that chilaquiles must have a little bit if protein.

Best service ever! A place that is so welcoming that you feel like you are in someone's house. We went there twice for a proper desayuno and really felt that our waiter was doing more than the work of one person. Excellente.

Food from the buffet was old and some dishes didn't have good taste, waiter was attentive but with more tables assigned than he could cope.

A really run down place that probably saw better days. Food is average. The house is nice and has potential, shame the restaurant isn’t all that.

What an excellent find: very tasty and super economical! We stumbled upon this place by chance, as the place we had intended to eat was closed. And we are so happy to have found them! We took the recommendation of the nice man who was serving tables today for a fried mojara and tuna in garlic sauce. He said it was very "sabroso", and it was. When we got our food the fish looked good, but the veggies looked bland, however, everything had so much taste, we never needed salt, nor salsas. It was such a light yet tasty meal, we really left singing. We also got an enchillada with excellent cheese on the house. Thanks so much! Finally, we could not believe the prices, they are so low, especially in comparison with nearby restaurants, that we have no idea how they do it. Totally recommended, and we shall return.

Not worth it, just choose another place. The communication is terrible, they consistently bring out dishes that you didn’t order, and when you finally get your dish it’s cold and not very good.

This is an amazing place with vintage vives! but (there is a but!) the food -spanish dishes mostly- was good but kinda basic... -I understood that because this pandemic times maybe-. Sooo what I really enjoyed was the time i was peacefully sitting there In this little garden... latter I will go to try -for another chance- breakfast time, possibly is better, let´s see.

TLDR +good service , classic chatty Mexican waiter + Beautiful and strange place , outside is nice, inside old like museum - old and creepy bathrooms - disgusting food - not expensive , but not really cheap also HOW THE OLD CLASSICS DIE this restaurant use to be the classic birthday restaurant, the food was nothing outstanding but good. The place was huge , full of people. The place couldn't keep with the modern food scene of CDMX , the food is disgusting, the price not low enough. It's a shame , the place looks good but the buffet food sucks. The salads are flooded with dressing, the fish is not unfrozen right. All the vegetables are cooked with too much butter. In the end we talk with the waiter and he suggest us dishes outside of the menu. I looks like is something normal to ask for the daily dish, this dish was a good fish, "Huachinango en hoja santa". Is a shame , this place was good hardworking people , but they just can keep with the quality of other places in the same neighborhood. The buffet style is shady , i look like a good deal but the food is awful. And the good dishes are accesible just for people that speak Spanish and are incline to ask for them ( and pay extra ) At least the museum not old Mexican Cabaret Movies is still inside. This restaurant is more important as a Mexican movie research place.
