★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother absolutely loves this place for its anchor foods: pozole, tostadas, and pretty much everything on the first and second pages of the menu.
I detest this place because, beyond the two first pages of the menu, the food is always pretty expensive, terribly salty and horribly greasy.
Avoid the chilaquiles. And the huaraches. And pretty much everything that is bathed in fresh sauces. That's the worst!
But, the pozole is inexpensive and always good. Pretty much the best item on the menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, large, and clean! This sit-down restaurant was one of our favorites of the visit to Cancun. The portion sizes are decent, and the prices allowed for us to try many different things. Our server spoke about as much English as we did Spanish, so communication was pretty good. The flavors were unlike any Mexican food in USA. We recommend you give it a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is delicious food here! I love the stuffed pepper, it comes with rice and delicious sauce, and the chicken tacos as well, the meat is good quality and well flavored. They often will offer a selection of either fresh juice or baked goods at your table as well. The wait staff is very nice, treated me as a friend. I may not be able to visit again during the remainder of my trip however it was a very fun experience! It reminded me of my Abuela :)
