★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lo mejor la atención de Brandon y su hermano. Muy atentos en todo momento. Conocen al detalle el lugar y pueden montar excursiones a los sitios de alrededor.
El lugar es básico pero descansas muy bien y el precio es justo. Nos dejaron usar la cocina y nos arreglaron el transporte de vuelta a Nochixtlan.

The best care of Brandon and his brother. Very attentive at all times. They know the place in detail and can set up excursions to the surrounding sites.
The place is basic but you rest very well and the price is fair. They let us use the kitchen and arranged transportation back to Nochixtlan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and accommodating owners, surprisingly fast wifi (not that you go to Apoala for the wifi!), and free drinking water. Comfy outside seating area to relax in the evenings, too. Overall we would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I visit Apoala, I prefer to stay here than in the community cabins. This is because at the cabins, you can have bad luck and get loud neighbours (tourists) that decide to ramp up the volume until late at night. This has happened frequently. So I prefer La Casa de mi Abuela, also because their hosts are amazing. Brandon and Jonathan (brothers) are the perfect hosts. They actually can be the best guides of all the town, very knowledgeable and smart. This is the place to stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great stay at "La casa de mi abuelita" in Apoala. Our host was super friendly and welcoming: he took us to the nearby cave, treated us to lots of candies, showed us his animals and garden plants and organized perfectly timed transport back to Nochixtlán for us. Very much hope to come back one day!
