Hermoso hotel cerca del Centro. Bonitas habitaciones y la atención del personal es muy hospitalaria. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Está bien para pasar una noche pero no mas, el agua nunca salió caliente y el Wifi es bajo.

Beatiful place

It's a beautiful place. It have beautiful gardens and architecture. The service was a little bit slow but ok. I totally recommend it.

The staff were friendly and the room was big and clean. The breakfast was huge and delicious for only $100 pesos, definitely recommended rather than eating nearby as we found everywhere to be shut.

Beatuifully restored and decorated traditional architecture, paintings and rooms. Restaurant has average prices for their menu options, the food was delicious.

So lovely. A glimpse of the inner garden caught my eye on a visit to Comitan two years ago. I went in for a look around and a large painting of a festival especially fascinated me (though it was taken down for refurbishing on my next visit).. So when I came back two years later, I booked a room for 3 nights. I love the historical colonial architecture of high ceilinged rooms around a patio and garden. Each room is uniquely furnished and decorated. I chose a larger room off the street that still had a window. There are also windows in the upper portion of the double wood doors to make the room light and bright while retaining privacy. I like a lot of natural light. The recessed lights and beautiful chandelier provided light in the evening, but when turned off created a pitch black room for a good sleep. The king sized bed had great sheets, pillows and comforter. The seating area was large with comfortable chairs. The information said robes and slippers were provided-- but they were not. Slippers would have been appreciated as the tile and marble floors are quite chilly! I really liked both the room and garden/patio. My only real complaint was the water temperature. A 4-star hotel at this price should have hot water. My first shower was luke warm, my second one was better (but still not hot) and the third one was barely warm enough for comfort! Very disappointing. Office staff (except one) were not especially attentive. I loved the view from the patio of inglesa San José white and gold steeples gleaming in the sun in the afternoon. The location is excellent!

I felt like I was the President of Mexico in the 19th Century! Which is exactly what I wanted. The historic decor, location, breakfast, and jacuzzi in my room were all fantastic. Parking is also nearby. The wifi did not work well (take note business travelers). Normally this is an unpardonable sin for me, but I'm offering some leeway based on the location, and because I liked everything else in the hotel so much.
