This location is amazing if you love to be ON the beach! The back porch backs up to the beach and the water is just about 20 steps down the sandy path. The casita is really cute with good protection from the elements, and the windows are big enough to allow the ocean breeze and sounds to come through at night. Please note NO Air Conditioning, but as long as you keep the fans going and spend most of your time on the porch and in the ocean, it’s easy enough to stay cool. Also, important to bring everything you can’t live without to El Cuyo as the mini Stores are pretty limited in their offerings. Also, there are many restaurants in El Cuyo but the hours are pretty varied and inconsistent, so be sure you have some food with you to cook at home. The casita has everything you need to cook comfortably at home. Carlos is an A+ host and he will help you with anything you need via text.
