Sótano del Barro
El Sótano del Barro es la segunda sima más grande del mundo.
Es recomendado iniciar el recorrido durante la madrugada para así poder observar el amanecer desde el punto máximo; así como el despertar de las guacamayas tan emblemáticas de este bello lugar.
El acceso al lugar es bastante limitado. El recorrido comienza a las 3:00 a.m., consiste en caminar por una ruta para llegar a la arriba, recibir el amanecer acompañado del vuelo de las guacamayas que habitan en el Sótano. Además se pueden encontrar otras especies de aves entre las que se hallan el halcón peregrino y el cardenal pardo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar muy diferente a lo cotidiano, cuenta con lo necesario es muy silencioso y tranquilo, confortable y con una terraza increíble. Excelente atención.
La casita ecológica tiene solo el detalle a mi parecer un baño mal ubicado o con mala ventilación. El olor de este un poquito constante y la cama principal está al lado de este al estar dormido el olor es un tanto incomodo. La cortina del baño requiere reparacion.

 A very different place from everyday life, it has everything you need, it is very quiet and calm, comfortable and with an incredible terrace. Excellent attention.
The ecological house has only the detail, in my opinion, a bathroom that is poorly located or with poor ventilation. The smell of this a little constant and the main bed is next to it, when sleeping the smell is somewhat uncomfortable. The shower curtain requires repair.
the upper part where the 2 beds are needs more details to be visually beautiful just as a suggestion

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si buscas una opción diferente y ecológica pon a prueba esta cabaña que entre sus características, ofrece el baño seco y una opción para hospedaje amigable con el medio ambiente .
El lugar es bonito , a 15 min del pueblo , la atención es genuina y agradable , sin embargo en su renta especifica que puede ser para más de 2 personas y considero que eso no es cierto . La cabaña es pequeña ,los techos muy pequeños , la habitación principal es incomoda , las escaleras hacia la parte de abajo están difíciles de bajar y el baño seco se encuentra ADENTRO de la cabaña .
Las personas que habitan el lugar ( dueños) empiezan a trabajar desde muy temprano y hacen bastante ruido al pasar por la cabaña.
Desde la madrugada se escucha ruido y ajetreo .
If you are looking for a different and ecological option, try this cabin that, among its characteristics, offers a dry bathroom and an option for friendly accommodation with the environment.
The place is beautiful, 15 minutes from the town, the attention is genuine and pleasant, however in your rental it specifies that it can be for more than 2 people and I consider that this is not true. The cabin is small, the ceilings are very small, the main room is uncomfortable, the stairs to the bottom are difficult to go down and the dry bathroom is INSIDE the cabin.
The people who inhabit the place (owners) start working very early and make a lot of noise when passing through the cabin.
From early morning noise and hustle and bustle can be heard.

Las cabañas que ofrecen están diseñadas de una manera excepcional, te ofrecen el espacio mínimo requerido para que tengas una estancia por demás agradable, pero eso sí, con la consigna de tener respeto por nuestra naturaleza por lo que el uso de ecotecnias es una de las características de este bello lugar. La atención y hospitalidad de los anfitriones, personal de servicio e incluso las mascotas de el lugar es admirable. La limpieza de cabañas y de todo el complejo es algo a destacar. Sin lugar a dudas éste lugar ofrece una de las mejores experiencias a vivir.

The cabins they offer are designed in an exceptional way, they offer you the minimum space required for you to have a very pleasant stay, but yes, with the slogan of having respect for our nature, so the use of eco-techniques is one of the characteristics of this beautiful place. The attention and hospitality of the hosts, service personnel and even the pets of the place is admirable. The cleanliness of cabins and the entire complex is something to highlight. Without a doubt, this place offers one of the best experiences to live.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful place surrounded by trees and nature, hidden away from the city where one can relax and forget the daily stress of life..all the casitas have been built green (environmentally friendly) although I have to say that I wasn't too excited about the dry toilets.. to truly save any water the shower needs to be gone.
I think not having internet could be an issue for some of us to stay connected with business and family or in case of an emergency.
I was also a little disappointed when workers started to walk and work around the casita and woke us up too early, other than that I highly recommend this place?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a project by the owners to try to live with minimal impact on the environment. They are water self-sufficient from rainwater. They built their houses out of mud and set glass bottles in the walls to add sunlight to the rooms. They grow some of their food. They have adopted several dogs. They provide employment to the locals in the form of maintenance of the outbuildings and pruning of trees.The food was good, and the lodgings were comfortable.
