★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed three weeks at La Casita and I had an amazing time. There is a great atmosphere in the school, which will make you feel right at home. Jose and the staff were very helpful and accessible. The after school activities were perfect to get to know my fellow students and to get to know the city. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to La Casita without knowing any Spanish and after three weeks of attending classes, I'd say I have a good basic command of the Spanish language. I am so happy, I attended the course, since you really learn a lot and it is so much fun! It is a good mix of grammar and vocabulary and the focus is on communication - which is perfect. Besides, Jose and the teachers are just amazing! Special thanks to Marisol, who is one of the best teachers in the world!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to one of the language exchanges at a local bar and it was so cool to have the opportunity to meet so many people from all over the world. I practice my English and German and made some good friendships and even had some day trips with them. I really recommend this place and their activities it's such a cool vibe with the staff and are always friendly to help you with anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muchas Gracias to all at La Casita! You all really helped me during my time there and I am ready to put my Spanish skills to use! At this school they have very small intimate classes that really focus on developing each student. I also attended various after-school events such as language exchanges, movie nights, city tours and even a karaoke night! The location was perfect for me as its less than 10 minutes to walk from the centre, my classes were from 9am-1pm leaving the rest of the day to myself. Couldn't be happier with both the school and the staff! Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Casita was the highlight of my amazing time in Mérida. A four-week daily intensive with Diana was the boost I needed to kick my Spanish back into high gear. (Well, intermediate gear!) The sponsored social and cultural activities are definitely worth attending. Don’t miss the chance to hang with the team when offered! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely loved my week long class with La Casita in Mérida! The responses to emails were super quick, payment was easy, the assessment call about my level was fun. The classes were exactly tailored to my wishes and really helped me improve my level, grammar, and knowledge about Mexican as well as Mayan culture. I always left with a smile :-). I had one-to-one lessons with Francisco (who was superpassionate about teaching, had studied teaching Spanish for adults, really patient, and also spoke great English we could fallback to) and based on my wishes, we explored the city and held classes in a different café every day. I can HIGHLY recommend this Spanish school :-).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot recommend La Casita enough!! The classes were well structured and the teachers were super engaging and made Merida feel like home! La Casita is an incredibly welcoming family business and is a great fit for students of any age, country of origin, or background. We shared lots of laughs and my Spanish improved a ton in only a month! I went from being able to speak next to no Spanish to having some great conversations with locals :) Classes are also well priced and flexible to your schedule. When I return to Merida I will be sure to continue with my lessons here. Thank you so much for all your time, effort, and friendliness La Casita!
