La Casona art & recyling - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

Bonito lugar para quedarse en Cozumel con esculturas de arte reciclado si eres un viajero mochilero y dispuesto a conocer la isla, porque nada más te dará tipo de llegar a bañarte y dormir relajado, y al otro día continuar con la aventura en sus diferentes playas, arrecifes, beach club's, sus restaurantes, comida, atracciones, y los bellos atardeceres que tiene esa gran isla.

This place is a complete SCAM! we book a room at the property they show in the pictures, but when we arrived they said (without any previous notification) that they will take us to a different property two blocks away called Casa Coconut. This was just a house where a family with a baby lives. The house is big but is not clean, the common areas were messy and the bathroom was dirty. They said to us that the staff from La Casona also clean this place, but that was not true, we talk to the staff and they didn't do anything about it, in fact, they were very rude to us and not even ask for an apology for the inconvenience. The staff is not trained, because after I place my complain at their FB page, the manager of this place sent me a private message intimidating me and attacking. So please be careful with this place and the rude staff that is all from Argentina.

Please don’t go there. The house is horrible. Squatter stile. Mattresses 20 years olds and the room incredible warm. We stay there 5 min e go away. The manager didn’t want to refund the three nights already payed. Poor people.

4.5 Stars! Loved the vibe of the place and the team is great, it would be perfect if you could improve the cleaning a little bit, specially in the bathroom. Maybe they are trying not to use too much chemical products. Don't get me wrong, we stay and used everything and had a great vacation, so... Almost 5 *

I booked this place a day before arrival with Expedia. The La Casona sent me a message asking what time we were arriving. I replied when I read the message on the day of arrival and then received a message saying they won't be able to accept the reservation. We were already on our way to Cozumel when that happened. I would not bother even booking as they might tell you you don't have a place to sleep just hours or who knows maybe even minutes before arrival. Or if I did not read that message I would possibly just appear there and be told that! Waste of time and nerves. ?????, ????? ??? ?????, ?????? ??????? ?????? ???? ????? ?????.

Super cozy house with warm and welcoming staff working there. But be aware: if you don’t like a relaxed, backpacker stylish accommodation, it’s not for you. I love it though. The kitchen is open for you to cook your own food and there’s a fridge to place your own cold items. The staff are volunteers, mostly backpackers earning accommodation. The ones working while we were there were really helpful and friendly. The house is cozy to hang around in, and if you’re up for a chat there’s always someone to chat with. Best recommendations from me.
