★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Por fin un restaurante que no vende solo fritanga y comida regional en el pueblo. Esta comodo al aire libre en un porche y está buena la comida. No es muy caro. Se antoja ir a desayunar y tomar café.
Finally a restaurant that does not sell only fritanga and regional food in the town. It is comfortable outdoors on a porch and the food is good. It is not too expensive. It seems like going to breakfast and drinking coffee.

Delicious food. Excellent service and warmth. I could hear the story a thousand times during the tour of the house. Definitely worth going. My favorite restaurant in the Sonora River.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's February and we just had a very nice meal in the courtyard at La Casona, without jacket or sweater. The restaurant is in a 120 year old building with adobe walls 2 feet thick, and really pleasant and charming.
We had bollo de elote (masa dressed in crema and strips of green chile), and tamales divorciados (corn and beef tamales dressed in green and red sauce respectively). Both were delicious and beautifully presented. For dessert, tamal de frijol: bean tamal sweetened with piloncillo and raisins.
Service was excellent.
