Great food and service. Always an excellent view of the lake and surrounding area. Varied menu with lots of choice. You can't go wrong eating here. There is also a full bar and good selection of beer. Lots of seating both outside and inside. Prices are moderate .

Beautiful view of Lake Chapala while you enjoy a wonderful meal. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Also had Johnathan Guzman band playing. It was an excellent afternoon.

I always get the shrimp Diablo with corn tortillas Fantastic!!!! Dad had a shrimp Mocajate. And of course I always have bananas flambe. I am editing this review because every single time we have gone it's wonderful and consistent. The food, no matter what people order is delicious. My husband swears they have the best burgers and fries in all of Ajijic & Chapala. The customer service is wonderful, so attentive and the scenery is amazing. The cost is so reasonable. Thank you for truly loving your customers ❤️ it's like coming home.

Beautiful setting overlooking Lago de Chapala. Been there a couple times and we liked the food and music on one visit. Staff is friendly and first visit service was excellent with just my wife and I… next visit with a small group left much to be desired. It’s been there out for months so we’ll try again. Recommend for the setting and ambience.

Good and fast service. Food is average to good, but still one of the best restaurants around. Price are fair, view is amazing.

One of the most beautifully located restaurants in the area. Ideal date-night place Set on the hillside, about a hundred feet above the lake, La Cima del Copal boasts some of the most scenic panorama of Lake Chapala and the surrounding region. The atmosphere and decor are positively tropical, lending the restaurant something of a Caribbean flair. Service is friendly and exceedingly welcoming, while the food is of decent quality and well-presented. ProTip: The restaurant has attracted a colony of Coatis, which occupy the hillside below. Keep an eye out for them if you're sitting at the lake-facing tables.

Previously My one star to the rude comment made by the service person of the place. He said we can not use the balcony side seat if we just want to enjoy the desert and coffee and this is not the first time I am visiting the place and is not the only coffee or the desert I was going to order. The place has a good lake side view but I did not expected a rude customer service I had been visiting this place since 2017 not had such encounters. For me There is not many vegetarian options. So I prefer to enjoy the desert here but it was rude to say you can not have the balcony seat if you only want to enjoy the desert. Updates Edited: 4start for positive response by the owner of the place. (Will visit this place again after some time for a 5 star review ) I appreciate the kind response from the owner and his positive approach towards my review, and I gain trust in his words. I got the assurance that no one has to face such situation again. He is nice polite guy and I think everyone should get a chance to improve. Hope to visit this place again with more positivity.

We moved to Ajijic from Savannah, GA about 6 weeks ago and we've been exploring the wonderful restaurants in the area. We enjoyed a delightful late lunch at 2 PM last Sunday. The manager and servers were all friendly and attentive. There is ample parking at the top of the hill, and the views of Lake Chapala are spectacular - in a covered outdoor setting. We started with cocktails - Whiskey on the rocks, and Sangria, followed by Queso Fundido con Chorizo with fresh, home made tortillas. We both had the Vacio (Angus Beef Steak) with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes for lunch, and had plenty to bring home with us. Sadie, our Corgi, was excited to see food containers, and thrilled that we shared a little of our Steak with her. Everything was delicious and the views truly are breathtaking. We look forward to returning.
