★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food served here is incredible and cheap as hell. I’ve been virtually living off of their $30 peso tortas for almost a month, and I’m not planning on stopping. You can find all of the Mexican street food classics here, and the women running the place are great — they gave us free coffee in a torrential downpour, for example.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed each meal I had at Doña Esther's. We had a hard time finding her for dinner at first, but they seem to open up around 8pm. They set up tables that overlook Oaxaca city below. It's a nice setting, and even better food. Only place I've visited that offers vegetarian tlayudas. Such good quality food and flavors. Great for breakfast as well. We ordered some Huevos Al Gusto (one with chorizo and one with quesillo). The quality for the price can't be beat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I ate lunch here yesterday (and today, and will continue to for our entire stay) and we honestly haven't found a better better value in the 4 months we have been traveling Mexico. The tortas are absolutely delicious and only 30 pesos. Everything is under 50 pesos and very delicious and good portion sizes. The two ladies who run it are total sweet hearts as well. We will be trying everything on the menu before we leave Oaxaca. Highly recommend.
